Yes - but in a very UNHEALTHY way... :(

I'll spare the details (don't want to upset the "kiddies" out there)... but basically, whatever you eat "leaves" your body - BEFORE it has a chance to absorb most of it. This removes "excess" weight, but it also strips you of valuable things such as Vitamins, Minerals, and Proteins...

Taking laxatives in an attempt to 'purge' of food is classified as a form of bulimia. You're consuming, and purging. You will lose weight, but you will also lose out on all necessary vitamins and minerals that maintain your health. You would be better off starving yourself and taking a multi-vitamin to compensate.

But I wouldn't suggest you do so. I've managed to lose 61 lbs, just by eating a healthier diet.

It can kill you. Dehydration is not a good way to loose weight. I'm overweight and understand the frustration of wanting to loose weight. However, This is not an option, the truth is this is a form of anorexia.

No its not good, because everyone would be getting great results from just taking those pills. It requires hard work, like doing excercises and watching what you eat. Your weight did not get there overnight. Dont expect it to be gone by Morning.

laxatives are the most abused over the counter drugs available. They might help you lose weight-for a time. The are very dangerous though if you abuse them, because your body gets used to not having to work so hard to have a BM and then you get dependant on laxatives.
