many people see god and such a bit like nonsense but are afraid to say so cause they think will go to hell and not heaven this god guy doesn't seem so nice to put people in an evil place like hell because they don't believe in him? it sounds to me like this idea was invented to make people believe in it an spread as a religion.

Of course your right, or at least close enough, and a similar system of using fear as a tool for compliance is seen in the Islamic world where children are told before bed that Allah will kill then during their sleep if they don't attend to their prayer responsibility every day. (This may also be enforced by physical harm and additional psychological pressures applied, parent to child, in an effort to achieve complete submission of the child.)
Threat of personal harm is a strong motivator to young minds and once they have fallen into submission and belief, they are further indoctrinated with lies and half truths and if necessary threatened all over again.
Ultimately, kids grow up, of course, and the threatened become the ones doing the threatening when a system of peer pressure begins to become the greatest motivator for conformity. Each individual in the group, children and adults, begins to be "his brother's keeper," warning his reminders of the promised and commonly believed threats whenever a member steps out of line; and thus, by this application of peer pressure, order and insured standards of behavior are maintained within the group.
Threat is a strong reason for belief... no doubt about it.
You've got it right, Matt. Stay the course.

Follow along here, it's tricky.
First of all: You might want to learn the difference between "there" and "their," and how to spell afraid. People might be more inclined to treat your comments as the product of thought.
Now, as to your reasoning: If people don't believe in God, and Hell is one of God's creations, they are highly unlikely to believe in Hell. Consequently, they don't think they will go there.

Do not say the believers 'some' or
'a few', the number of non-believers
is small.
During 1800s, Anthropologists had a problem as to how to
classify human beings. One researcher proposed the
expression "intelligent animal". After advanced studies on
monkeys, it was dropped. Another researcher proposed "tool
using animal". After observing some animals making wooden
tools and sharpening them with knife like stones, it was
dropped. Another researcher proposed "weapon using animal".
A decade ago, a rare film was shot by an amateur in an
African forest. One short monkey was hit very badly by a big
monkey. The short monkey prepared a wooden knife using
stones and hid it on the top of a tree. After some days,
when the big monkey came to attack the short monkey, it ran
up to the tree for the weapon it has hid and killed the big
monkey. The one thing that the anthropologists found with
any group of human beings, even if they did not have
contacts with the out side world for thousands of years, is
that they have spirituality with some form of religion. So,
man is a "spiritual animal" if you want to call him that
way.
The Upanishads say that "Manush" (human) was so
named because he has "Manas" a mind higher than
that of the animals which realizes the divinity in
creation. It was present since the creation of
human beings. Religion is the characteristic
feature of most of the human beings. It was not
attained through reasoning using mind. Illiterate
tribes located in inaccessible forests also have
religion. It is as eternal and and as unchanging
as the Almighty. Disbelief by a few will not
affect it.

Religion is not a blind following. It is a sub-consciously driven
group ritual. It calms the 'collective unconscious' mind. The
religious culture brings unity and belongedness among the followers.

Yep, but not me. I don't want to have fake beliefs. If I believe I want it to be because I really believe and not because I'm scared.

That wouldn't make much sense now, would it? We only know about hell because God revealed it. Therefore we have to believe in God before we believe in what He revealed. I think you have it backwards.

Knowing God my friend, is not knowing the average guy... He is God... and he set the rules. Are we to dictate his thots, his laws or his ways?
Sins must be punished, period. God is not nice? Well, He sacrificed his son... Ask any parent, to sacrifice my son to save another is greater love than to sacrifice my own life.
Going to heaven is a sweetener for me. The real idea is to make peace and coming to terms with God. Knowing God is a personal experience. Can anyone force you? Can anyone trick you? You heart will answer that... If you think you are forced, its a scam then really, your time is not here yet. As christians we can pray but we cannot push you.

There are 162 references to HELL in the New Testament alone, over 70 of those spoken by Jesus Himself.
" He that believes (the gospel) and is baptized SHALL BE SAVED; he that believes not SHALL BE DAMNED ". - Jesus
"So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire; there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth". - Jesus (Matt. 13:49)
Jesus called it a literal place of REAL torment.
The truth about hell: http://www.av1611.org/hell.html
Scriptures about hell: http://www.rapturealert.com/ishellarealplace.html
" For the wages of sin is death, but the Gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ Our Lord". - (Romans 6:23)
Don't be deceived my friend, by foolish atheists that try to convince you contrary to what Jesus taught....

Most people believe because it is a matter of convention. These are the same kinds of people who get married and raise a family because it is the thing to do.
