Ok guys, I need to know how to get a guys attention and keep it. My dad says that I come off a little strong, and I've tried to work on that. I think I've improved but still need a little work. So what do you guy look for in a girl?

Wow...you'd think with all these answers you'd get at least one that would state the obvious: A guy looks for a girl who's interested in him! You don't need to walk up and plant a big wet kiss on him, but you need to show you're interested. Talk to him, put your hand gently on his arm for a short time during different parts of the conversation. If he pulls away, he's not interested...if he doesn't, it means he likes it and is interested in you as well. This way he knows that you like touching him...a big turn-on for a guy...and a great confidence builder. Just make sure you don't treat all guys the same...touch only the one you're interested in so that he'll know the difference.
So, how can you make yourself more attractive to him? Be clean, smell nice but don't use perfume, look him in the eyes when you talk to him, but when you do, picture him holding you... this thought will subconsciously be projected by your facial expression in the right way. If he's interested, you'll be able to see it in his eyes and the way he reacts to your touch.

A girl that is friendly and nice. One that is able to carry a conversation. It is good when she is sweet and kind and honest. If you come on to strong guys will back away. On the other hand if you don't let a guy know you like them and just give them your number and are all quiet, then we think you are not that interested and are just being nice. It is good to flirt with a guy, and smile at him. It lets him know you like him. You can call them to say hi just not 3 or 5 times a day. Once is good. Sending text messages is also sweet you know to let them know you are thinking about them. Just don't send 10 a day saying it, 3 is a good number. The fact is a guy wants to know he is wanted just like a girl does. We don't want to be continuously bombarded however with questions and I love you. Some guys like to spend a lot of time with their girls while others do not, so that is up to who you date. Just be nice and sweet and honest with the guy and it should all be good.

Ok let me break it down for you.
Rule #1 guys look for a girl with style, dont for get that!
Now once you have that down find the guy you like.
Try to talk to him (thats where style comes in). When you try to talk to him he will see that you are a stylish chik (guys like that). You prety mutch have his attention by then. After that talk to him every time you see him. He will get the impression that maby you kinda dig him. You will soon becom friends, and all you do is let time work its magic hopefully he will fall for you. I geus if you need good advice, you just heard it.

First you have to get our respect. To do that you must never ever be a smartass or a ***** to us. Guys will lose all there respect for you and start treating you like **** if you do that. Also don't make yourself seem easy. Make yourself look like a challenge to get. Then you'll have guys paying attention to you.

There is a book called "101 Ways to get and keep his attention" by Michelle Mckinney Hammond. And the best advise I ever got from my guy friends is stoping trying so hard. Try enjoying just being you and don't look for a guy then before you know it one will fall in your lap.

Guys basically like a girl that is sweet. A girl that has a nice body, I'm being honest. A girl that's somewhat social, very shy girls don't get much attention. I don't like a girl that appears obsessed with me.

Getting a guy's attention is not difficult. However, keeping his attention is a different story. I suggest that when you find a good man, then give him your heart and soul. Love him like you love yourself. Be his everything. If you do, and he is worth his salt, then he will be eternally grateful and will always be by your side.
