i don't agree with some of the answers above me crunches and sit ups will only strengthen your muscles not flatten it , there is some fat on your stomach that's why its not flat. You just need to burn the fat here are some tips on how to:
- eat about 6 small meals a day
- avoid hydrogenated fat
- drink plenty of water
- Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables
- Exercise ( remember working your abdominal muscles won't burn fat from your stomach)
- try to avoid white sugar, white bread ( white flour in general),packaged and refined food as much as possible
- Eat dairy ( it was proved that it helps you get rid of more fat)
And after you burn the fat you can try to strengthen your abdomens muscles. I personally like pilates
Hope that helps

Cardio. Crunches won't necessarily make it smaller, so you need to run/bike/jog. But i bet it isnt THAT big.
Everyone is self-conscious in some way, so try not to stress too much about it. Being confident is the best way to look and feel better. You could have the flattest stomach in the world, but if you still doubted yourself, it wouldnt make a difference. Good luck

Toss a medicine ball to a friend on an incline bench. Take the ball back over your head and lean back, then contract your abs, come up and throw the ball back. Try taking it to the sides too.
Of course, no matter how good your ab muscles are, noone will be able to see them if you don't burn off the fat over them. Get in some cardio every day.

It's all in the abs. Start doing crunches or sit-ups in the morning, or before bed. I recently started doing the Billy Blanks Ab Boot camp DVD. It definitely gives you a good work out.

Firstly, you should cut down on your carbo consumption. Eat more fruits with fibre to clear the toxic in your body. Exercise daily, (sit-ups) and lastly alchohol is also full of carbo, and if you do drink, you may want to cut down.
