And Christians insist they only worship one god! They actually have four (well, three and an anti-deity who exists to make them behave).
Father, Son, Holy Spirit (watered-down, abbreviated mother figure) and Satan. One, two, three, four.

I most certainly care about Jesus being my Savior, but I also care about God being my Heavenly Father. And there is no way that I can have one, without having the other also. For in the Word of God, Jesus tells us that He and the Father are one. I most certainly love the Lord Jesus Christ, for He has done so much for me; and He continues to do so much for me every day. But I most certainly love the Heavenly Father also. For if the Heavenly Father had not of sent his only begotten Son, Jesus, there would of been no other way for us to ever be saved from our sins, and to receive all the many blessings that the Heavenly Father places upon his loved ones. I also love the Holy Spirit of God. For He is with me every day, guides me and directs me in every thing that I do in this life, and gives me the power, the boldness, the wisdom, the faith, the love, the understanding, and the courage that I need, to live my life in a way that continuously pleases the Heavenly Father. I praise God every day, for all three of the Holy Trinity.

Both are the same God but in two entities. We should respect them both including the Holy Spirit of God.

its a package isn't it... ok jokes aside...
the sinner's prayer includes you to recognise your sins, accept God as your father and Christ dying for your sins... its never one or the other...
pretty much like 10 commandments isn;t it... you dont't do some fail some and hope to please God.
