MOST DEFINITELY!!! Instead of millions of people concerned over the Global warming nonsense we should be focusing on these troops and their families. They have sacrificed so much. Many Veterans and their families are still suffering from the past wars and the funding for the VA is an insult and so is the funding for the current Military force. All this money that goes to illegals is a waste!

Nicole: I think supports the troops should be given even more support when they come home with limbs missing or dead. The living troops are the lucky ones and need support but the ones who lose limbs and die are the ones who really lost. War is an outcome of politics and politicians it is not the will of the people. This holds true for every race, religion and creed. ONLY govt and radicals create wars, not normal people who wish to live in peace.

Certainly. And despite all of the constant attention to the topic on certain TV news outlets, there are less than 1,000 amputees from the Iraqi and Afghan theaters of operation. Through December 1st of 2006, 81% of those personnel medically evacuated from Iraq and Afghanistan were afflicted with conditions and diseases which were not combat related.
One in five of the death toll that is pushed in those same outlets every day are from non-combat causes. Either accidental deaths, deaths from disease or self-inflicted wounds. They also neglect to mention that over 9,500 active duty personnel died between 1980 and 1984, despite the fact that no one was shooting at us. I believe that supporting the troops includes telling the whole truth about casualties!

God can heal all people of something consisting of an amputee's limb. yet those Judas Preachers are pretenders to earnings better congregations skill and money. and that they have no skill to heal all people of something. they might fool particularly some the folk particularly some the time. yet they can't make limbs to advance before the cameras. they might in basic terms faux to heal illnesses that may not have the capacity to be shown actual or fake. backside li ne is: They lie for the almighty greenback.

Supporting the troops should mean bringing them home with all their limbs and not dead.
But yes, it should also mean ensuring they receive proper medical attention if they do come home injured, and that their families should be taken care of if they come home dead.

Nicole, the most important support these soldiers can get is from individuals, particularly civilians that visit them in the hospital and help them recover. Veterans do this on a regular basis, but we know that we help our own. The military provides medical help, but it is the gratitude of civilians that help us so much.

With the recent scandal on a Veterans hospital, it seems that is not the case.
