Probably not.
If he was to blame and was careless with it then I would be unimpressed. But if it was a genuine accident, then he probably feels bad enough as it is, so I wouldn't get angry.
Just think about how you'd feel if you accidentaly lost yours - you'd feel terrible! Just try not to blow it out of proportion.
Good luck! :)
And remember it's the marriage that's important. I know the ring is an important symbol, but these things happen...

My husband lost his after only 2-3 months of marriage. I spent the last of my college savings to buy him a platinum band (expensive), and it fell off at work. He felt terrible, but I still couldn't help but be upset about it.
I literally cried for 3 days... simply because it was bought with money given to me by my granddad in Norway, so it was sentimental. I was upset because it was the ring I gave to him on our wedding day too, but a new ring can always be bought.
I spent drastically less on the second ring... marriage has taught me that my husband has a tendency to lose things, so I bought him a band from Overstock.com made of Tungsten carbite. You can't scratch it, it was cheap, and he actually likes this ring better than the platinum one!
I've forgiven him for losing the band, but mostly because I could see how badly it tore him up to lose it. If he'd been nonchalant about it, I'd probably still hold a slight grudge.

A wedding ring can be hazard,
I knew on guy who dropped a large valve ,and it crushed the ring onto his finger, he had to have is filed off to save his finger.
I knew a person, who slide down a ships ladder and have his ring, hook on a piece of welding slag and rip his finger off.
Rings can chaff gloves over time, and allow chemical leaks or conduct electricity.
I have worked in cold spaces and had my extremities so constricted that my ring slipped off( I was lucky, I froze in placed, and listened as it fell and was able to locate it, and still have it)
Many jobs require the removal of rings for safety. Disappointed at the loss Yes Mad No! P.S no Pun intended

Well, I might get upset but I do know that there were jobs where having his ring on could have cost him his hand, and if it got lost it would bother me a whole lot less then having him come home minus his fingers or hands. Rings can be replaced.

Was it by accident. Maybe he took it off so he would not mess it up, there lots of reasons it could happen. In that case no. Now if he is acting like he does not care than yes I would be upset. But otherwise I would help to relocate the ring,

Depends if he was careless with it: like left it on the treadmill base and walked off. But in general, no. Afterall, would you want him to be mad at you if you lost yours? I try not to get too worked up over material objects. The important thing is that you have your husband.

Things happen like this all the time. I don't think I would be too upset. I know it is a sentimental thing that can never be replaced but its not like he is denying he is married right? Just get another ring for him to show that he is married. Don't stress over the small stuff.

Our wedding rings are made of titanium, and my husband thought it would be a brilliant idea to run over the ring with his van to test the strength of it. It didn't damage it, but his thoughtless action pissed me off like crazy. So if I get really pissed off at him running over the ring with a van, I would probably kill him if he lost it. I'd be mad if it was an accident, but especially if he lost it while doing something stupid like RUNNING IT OVER WITH THE VAN!!!

No, because I lost mine and he still loves me and never got mad at me. The only way I would be mad is if I thought he lost it because he's a cheating dog and he took it off to hide it.

A little bc why did he have it off. If he had a good reason....didn't want it to get messed up etc. Then maybe not so much. But we have insurance on both rings so it wouldnt matter.
