Dyno, GT, Schwinn, Mongoose, Pacific, NEXT are all names owned by Pacific Cycle... the largest bicycle supplier on the planet.
There is no such thing as Dyno Inc. anymore.
That being said, don't think for a second that Dyno or GT or Mongoose PRO or Schwinn PRO are the same quality as those you find in Walmart... it just isn't true.
China and Taiwan are the largest suppliers of bikes and components. Even if the frame is built in the U.S. and it is assembled in the U.S. it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to find a bike that doesn't have Asian parts on it.

Yes Both brands are currently owned by Pacific brand bicycles. They also own Schwinn. These were bought when GT and SCHWINN both went bankrupt. DYNO mostly makes Cruisers and GT mountain bies and BMX bikes.

GT was around twenty five years ago (then made in America) and they were one of the top BMX bikes then with many world titles won on their frames. When free style street riding became popular (fifteen years ago) GT, long since made in Taiwan , jumped into the craze with dyno. Same company, all Taiwan junk. Just for fun, look up JMC Cycle. The best hand made BMX bikes ever made. DLH

yes, they are made by the same company, Dyno inc. A GT bike is just one of the divisions to the company, so that they can make more money and market a seemingly different product.

That they're owned by the same owner does not make them the same. They have different models and different functions.
It's like saying that Ashton Martin and Ford are the same because they're owned by Ford Motor Co..
There are some awesome bikes made in Taiwan, and mostly most bikes of all levels are built there.

Yes mate they are!
DLH seems to think Taiwanese bikes are junk!!! Tell that to the vast majority of the Tour de France.
The chances are YOUR bike is made in Taiwan, If you have one!
These days they are pretty much THE experts at high quality frames(including carbon). Just thought I'd mention it.
