I was saddened by this link, and I want to see what other YA members think of it. I felt like these lives (besides those of our own people which I know are important), are not important to many people, are they to you?

You're supposed to speed up to the 6th minute, don't bother with whats before, then just watch it for 3 minutes. Come back and tell me how it made you feel. I would really like to know.

the cycle of violence continues, with casualties and traumatized survivors on all sides.

I am not saddenned by the link; I am saddened by those who pretend to see the world in false dualism, as if one side has a monopoly on "good."

In short, no. We are not created equal. I think one picture can convey my sentiment, much better than words ever can. *WARNING* disturbing picture: http://kleenexwoman.livejournal.com/147420.html
Some are born faster, others stronger, some ruthless and cunning. In a state of perfect nature, equality does not exist in any way. The only way we can be "made" somewhat equal is through law: we are all equal under the law.

We were created equal but it is within us who is making one is different from the other. What is in other man is also in yourself. He has his senwses and you have senses too. Everything that is on the other person is on your self.

As to kind of life, it is a man who make his own life so some are rich b ut some are poor.

Om my gosh, that made me cry!! Yes, all lives are important. I just hope that we Christians can reach as many of them as we can, so that when they die, they can go straight home. Humanity is so messed up, and I know that things won't change for the better until Jesus sets His feet on the Mount of Olives and calls His people home.

In my eyes, everyone is equal- at creation, throughout life, into death.

That was interesting propganda there- and meant to get the reaction you felt. It is supposed to sadden and upset people, in hopes that they will THINK.
