This one's just for funsies.

So, I'm God, it's Judgement Day, and you're standing in front of that big purple throne (hey, it's my throne, I'll paint it any color I want) trying to talk your way past those pearly gates into eternal Xanadu.

What do you say? What makes you so special that you deserve the Big Payoff?

Have fun.

I won't have to say much because Jesus is my defense attorney.
"1 John 2:1
My little children these things write I unto you, that ye sin not, And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:"

"At the Judgment Seat of Christ, believers are rewarded based on how faithfully they served Christ (1 Corinthians 9:4-27; 2 Timothy 2:5). The things we will likely be judged on are how well we obeyed the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), how victorious we were over sin (Romans 6:1-4), how well we controlled our tongue (James 3:1-9), etc. The Bible speaks of believers receiving crowns for different things based on how faithfully they served Christ (1 Corinthians 9:4-27; 2 Timothy 2:5). The various crowns are described in 2 Timothy 2:5; 2 Timothy 4:8; James 1:12; 1 Peter 5:4; and Revelation 2:10. James 1:12 is a good summary of how we should think about the Judgment Seat of Christ, “Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.”

EDIT: Better to be hated for who you are, than loved for who you're not.

Hands down best question ever on R & S. I'll say Lord, even though I'm a terrible sinner and not worthy of the Kingdom of God, I trusted and believed every word in the bible. I accept that the only way to Heaven through Jesus death on the cross to pay for my sins and your grace in allowing such. Even though I've failed I always admited what you call sin was actually sin and ask your forgivness. I have no excuse and ask for your mercy and grace that I don't deserve and haven't earned. Not by works that I haver done but your grace am I saved.

I do not expect a big pay off just the hope of Grace and forgiveness.

I just tell Him that Olivia Newton John gave me a free pass. Of course I'll have to bribe Him with some Texas fajitas and salsa.

What do I say?
Assuming I still have enough consciousness to say it, I'd say: Such is life; thanks for the ride.

There are no Invisible Sky Critters gonna give you an entry ticket to heaven or give you an instruction to go to hell - these are constructs manufactured by scammers to keep the gullible in line.
Nothing keeps a stupid in line more than the threat of hell - big time Buku fear there.
Doesn't work with an Atheist though - with them you have to appeal to LogicReason.

And IF perchance I'm wrong I'll cheerfully go to Hell cos I sure don't want to spend my time in the company of Wowsers, Do-gooders and other sanctimonious elitists.

Excuse? There is no excuse - merley calling it an excuse makes it seem as if you have something to hide.

I have nothing to hide - a times I've been a real crappy person, but those times are less than the times I've been a decent person.

What will I say? "I'm ready - show me my life from the outside, what I managed to fix and what I should apologize for- to the people I offended. I can't say I was perfect and I offer no excuse for my behavior. I'm sorry."

I have done nothing worthy, all my good deeds are nothing, I have accepted your son Jesus, I ask for my High Priest - Jesus Christ to advocate for me, for I cannot do this on my own...

Jesus take the wheel, take it from my hands, cause I can't do this on my own... (I really wish I knew who the artist was who sings this song... but that is a line from the chorus...)

The God of the Bible isn't worthy of my worship, so if I end up in front of Him on judgement Day, I'll tell Him so, and take what's coming to me for it. But I'm not the least bit worried, because He's also quite unbelievable, and I'll tell Him that, too.
