If they are a different faith than yours, have they changed your perception of that faith?

I'll say that I've been immensely impressed with some fine persons of faith, especially Serafim, Super Bobo, Ramjet, Southernmale42, and Pangel. They exemplify what true Christianity is. Also, I just love Bobby Bonsai, he just cracks me up!

Yes, of course the Queen of Yack, too! How could I forget---old age is robbing my mind! I love the Queen of Yack! :D

Although I've only been posting exclusively in R&S for a little over two months, I've found many in here who have, in some way or form, enlightened me:

ramjet, Roger That, The Grit twins, Moreth, John the Baptist,...
... just to name a few (I know I'm probably forgetting to mention someone that I should;... please forgive me).

Hell, I even find Orion interesting at times...

Oh, and there was this guy on here, Jack B., whose posts ran the gamut from seriously intelligent to absolutely hilarious!
But I have no idea what happened to that guy...

Anyway, presently there is just enough wit here in R&S to keep me coming back to it, - and I hope it stays that way ...

Markyyy, & Kallan both were there when I had a real traumatic event that needed working through. I will never forget them for that .
I admire Ramjet, Pangel & Debra for always being positive.
FarmBred for being one of the few rational Christians I have encountered here.
Uncle Wayne for always leading a good raid ,
Deke and Island Oasis always make me at least smile.
My 2 Turkish friends who will always put up a good argument
Loka is a very intelligent and gifted with photo work.
Thrice Baked for cuteness..
I know I have missed someone but EVERYONE on my contact list is special to me in some way for some reason. Even the ones who have deleted accounts LOL

The persons that make impression on me are in general the resurrected ones. Yes I'm a believer and I'm waiting to see Ramjet again (the modified version).

But I admit some great people still here (like Island Oasis over my answer).

One person, who's initials are BA, is of a different belief that I am. He has not changed my perception. Others of his believe have changed my perception. They have shown me not all atheists are hateful...but he has put a snag on that line.

But, I do, in a positive manner believe others(can't pick just one or two people) have influenced me to look more into other faiths because they are a positive representative of that.

I totally agree, and I even share your impression of some you mentioned, and probably would with the others listed, but I have not had the pleasure. I am not as sweet or diplomatic as some you named and I hope to grow more diplomatic about some of my postings. Bobby was born to make even the angels smile, but haven't you heard about Ram Jet? She of all people, was deleted, as in lost her account.
The inside poop is that she is performing with Elvis in a small, and very exclusive club in Vegas. There is some talk that Elvis may be an impersonater, but it has been confirmed that it is really Ram Jet, not some imposter! [She was positively identified when someone saw her sans clothing, but covered from head to toe in mud in a bathtub.]

There's too many great people on here to name. I love them all like dear friends. Some I respect because of their knowlegde, others because of their humor and others because of their warmth. Father K and Proud Muslimah (not the clone) are not the same religion as me and they have taught me alot about their faiths.

I've met some great people on here of all faiths. Proof that one's beliefs don't have to hinder respect and friendship. There are to many to name all of them, but I have to give a shout out to Bonsai Bobby--quite possibly the funniest person on here! Also to IWF and Kait--one is atheist, one is Christian, and both are kind, caring people. And one who has just recently showed up on my radar--Island Oasis, whose sense of humor is keen and whose q/a's are always interesting.

Pangel is not a Christian sweetie.

Captain Atheism was the first atheist I ever communicated with in my life. I have learned so much from all of them but he touched me with his acceptance and friendship for me.

Epona Willow is one of my very favorite people. She is Wiccan. Again, I had never talked with a Wiccan before her. I love her as a dear friend now.

TTC and lookn2cjc are Christians. My relationship with both of them began as adversarial and evolved into acceptance and friendship. I adore them both.

Pangel and I have almost the exact same beliefs. Meeting her was confirmation for me.

for me it's not what I read on here, because some times I laugh, some times I get mad, and so on... but most of all we all get to voice our opinion on here and it makes us (or at least me) feel good. Makes a person feel as if they are being herd.

but I like .... watermelon grower .... we have been chatting by email about absolutely nothing, and I like it.
He is of no religion (Atheist) and I am Christian, and it dont seem to matter in the world of friendship.
