bugs, all the time, GROSS. But will it make him sick?

As long as you keep your puppy up to date on shots you more than likely have nothing to worry about. I also have a dog that likes bugs. She ate something about about 2wks ago that gave her a really bad allergic reaction. It happened at 130am so I ended up having to take her to the Emerg.Vet in my area because she was so swollen in her snout and leg areas. More or less I ended up paying $165.00 for a shot of Benegril. The vet told me keep human Benedril on hand for your pets if they get an allergic reaction. 1 milligram per pound of pet can be given, if no improvement after 15min then they said get them to a Vet. Just an FYI. I would have never known if I didn't experience.

Yes they can make him sick, dogs commonly get worms from flies, I'd try to distract him from eating bugs however you can, use sound or air to distract him.

Well It depend on what bug he/she eats so yes

no he wont get sick..bugs have protein in them...
but watch him when hes outside
he might get the wings stuck in his throat
so just be careful with him

it will not hurt him at all.... bugs actually have protein in them which is good for your dog.

Well he can get parasites (worms) from eating flys. so yes.
