I'm a Christian and I think (and this is JUST a guess) there is life on other planets.

The Bible clearly states that the only way to avoid Hell is to be a Christian. In order for people to be forgiven for their sins they have to accept the sacrifice of Jesus. In other words, without his death AND the acceptance of him as your savior, you don't get in.

I believe that God and Jesus are one, yet seperate entities. If there are people out there on other planets then God would have had to send himself as a sacrifice in order for him to forgive the aliens. He might not have manifested himself as the savior we know (he might be very different on some planets) but I believe on every planet where there is original sin this must be done every time. How else could the aliens be forgiven unless there was a sacrifice?

What do you think?

Of course no one knows the answer for sure, but I think it's interesting to guess what it must be like.

Then Christ would also have to return to all of these worlds simulataneously, other wise evil would still exist in distant parts of the universe. Your theory demands that there is a devil on each world also, and a hell. It starts to contradict the Bible in that John sees the city of New Jerusalem descending onto the earth, not other planets. Also the great multitude before the throne are humans, not different looking aliens.

I think there could be animal and plant life on other planets, but not life that can spiritually worships God as we do, that is having the image of God.

It is a good mental excersise.
Do you wonder if there is life on atoms?
What I mean by that is do you think about the possibility of life going into a realm larger than ours as much as you do as life in a realm smaller than ours.
As a last note, just how large does an infinite God need to make His creation to show His majesty? Maybe He made it the right size.
The search for life else where is really man seeking for some sort of reason to discount God's existance as if we found life somewhere else suddenly He would go away.

If the God of the Bible does exist, and if there truly is intelligent life on other planets, how do we know that they are sinners? It could well be that they passed the test, and never committed any original sin, therefore they would need to be "saved". It might be only the humans, in the whole cosmos, that couldn't meet God's requirements.

I beleive that there may be life on other planets. No proof but I always think why would there be so many planets yet life only inhabits one of them. Why would this be what is the purpose of that? And remember this is only one universe there are other universes out there we're but one. There are other parts of space that are unexplored and may never be explored and out there just as we ponder the question of life on other planets maybe "they" if they do exist in other parts of the universe may be asking the same question.

Since God is eternal Jesus also is eternal. This mean that God can send Jesus to others planets any time before and after He sends him here or He sends somebody equal to Jesus, why not? God is not limited and therefore He has unlimited servant like Jesus.

I don't see any problem with life on other planets. I see no evidence of it yet. But if there is, then God surely knows about it. Did they need saving? Who knows, maybe their history was different.
I think all creation exists for man here on earth, but if there is life on other planets, then thats God's will too.

That would require the Son of God to have been crucified or otherwise tortured to death 10^15 times, or ten to the fifteenth power times. It's not an easy job, being the Son of God, is it?

Very good, now let's try it one more time without using words like "christianity, god, jesus, savior, etc..." try using words like "science, fact, reality, myth, math, etc..)

nevermind, you aren't saying anything you just want someone to agree with your ponderings about a supernatural universe... That's not the way reality works.

Hope that helped.
Keep writing.
Cod bless!

The fact is we do not know! In my opinion yes there is life, it may not be of an intelligent race, it could be something like a bacteria. It is illogical to dismiss the possibility of life on other worlds. The facts are facts, we do not know. The truth is out there!

I am an Atheist..

The universe is HUGE I wouldn't be surprised if life is on other planets.. I wonder if we will recognize it as life if we see it.. Life on another planet orbiting around another star could very well have evolved into something we wouldn't recognize as life even if we saw it..
