Your scared because of what the church has pushed on you you can still believe in god and Jesus but what I'm saying is they push it so hard on you that if your not truly good enough you will go to hell no matter what.

OK here is the deal Death its self has no pain when your in the mind of letting it all go there is no pain there is just acceptance and love. The before death all depends on what happens but your body takes care of that. Most cases if you feel the pain and its sever your not going to die you might wish you had but if you have pain you have a good chance to live. that's why death is not painful.

We grieve because we love them even with there in a better place we grieve cause we don;t want there time with us to go we wont to show them something get in the car and go some where with them tell them a secret but you can't when there dead you just have to remember everything and keep it that way.

I'm not afraid of death I'm afraid of the thing that i wont get to see after I'm gone if that makes since so i live they day as if next week I'm not here i go where i can when i can.

It is hard to believe you when you say, "I believe in Christ and have accepted him in my heart," when you also say, "I am afraid of death" - It is a contradictory. Remember that you already died, in a sense, to the world when you were baptized with the Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ's name. You have been given a new nature, a new heart, and a new mind; one made in the likeness of Christ. Christ now dwells within you, and you need not worry about death, because Christ overcame death, and since Christ now dwells with you, so you too, shall overcome death through Jesus Christ. Death itself may be painful, there is no arguing that, but you should not look at death for strength or hope, but you should look for Jesus Christ for strength and hope during you hard times.

It is actually having to do with having a intimate love relationship with christ as well its not just accepting him into your life and believing in him you need to extend your faith and practice it. Fear comes from one source which is satan. You are supposed too put Christ first in your life before your friends and even your family. You have to love him and want to be closer to Him than them. If you are putting Him first than you should be practicing your faith daily, and be very close to Him. Living in fear is known to be a major crisis of faith. If you have strong faith in Him God says that God has planned something far better for people of faith. It also depends on if you are afraid to die or of dying. Being afraid of dying would lead you to matthew 8:25-26. Being afraid of death in a matter of speaking is also saying you are thinking with your mind instead of your heart. BUT I HAVE A GREAT IDEA!!! there is this book that is really good that helps you and guides you through situations in life with god it is a bible study called Experiencing God you can buy it at Lifeway stores they are in most major cities and if you do buy the book you are probably at the point where you may want to skip maybe the first chapter or so because you have already excepted God into your life but not so sure because I am not knowing your exact situation. please feel free to message me you can by going to my profile or if you cant that way message me at brittanyszone@yahoo.com

Yes! You would think that those who profess to believe in heaven and christ would celebrate more at the death of a loved one. They say 'well we will just miss them, that's why we're sad' If death were such a great thing, no one would be sad about it.
I guess even believers are afraid of the body they call themselves and home dieing and decaying.
Gross thought.

Maybe it's being afraid of the unknown? Quite honestly, I was afraid of death until I gained the ability to see and feel what happens when a soul crosses into from this world into the next. I wish I could share it. It's beautiful. I've even been granted a glimpse of the other side (it's just like this one, it's whatever you want it to be). I know what awaits me, and I'm no longer afraid of dying.

Your fear is overriding your faith. You need to let your faith override your fear. Get into the word of God and study the promises of the love and peace of Christ. As you surrender your fears over to him, Then his joy shall abound in your spirit. Sometimes there is a spirit of fear that tries to attack the child of God but as the child of God stands their ground and refuses to give in to fear, the spirit has no choice but to leave. Jesus has conquered death and the grave and when the body dies of a believer, their spirit goes to be with Christ in heaven and awaits to be glorified. Their life now in heaven holds no more pain, nor sorrow, nor growing old, no more sin, no Satan, no sickness or death ever again but to reign with Christ on this earth they will do for 1000 years in their new glorified body and this is what every born again child of Child will experience so there is no need to fear death, with each passing day, we are one heartbeat closer to seeing Jesus face to face. And this is our glory as He is our Lord and King!

I'm not afraid of dying but I am afraid of leaving my loved ones. Will my husband take as good care of our children as I would etc....... Even when a person believes in heaven it hurts to lose someone we love because we'll miss them and we don't know how long it will be until we see them again. Plus it's normal to be afraid of the unknown.

You are afraid because you really don't know what will come next. You can believe all you want, but in the end, its just a belief, not valid proof. Death is not painful...it is painful for the family that has lost a beloved person to them. Even if it was guarenteed you will be in Heaven...the family would still miss you.
