If you believe that Satan is an actual being and is both immortal and endowed with unnatural powers how can you rightly say you are a monotheist believing in only one god?

Many of you seemed to miss that I asked how could Satan not be considered a "god". I didn't ask about whether he was "God," i.e. the Christian god. Webster's Dictionary defines "god" as "a being or object believed to have more than natural attributes and powers and to require human worship; specifically : one controlling a particular aspect or part of reality." Since many of you who believe in Satan believe that he has more than "natural abilities" and that he is immortal, how can he not be considered a god?

He is a spirit. He is a created being. His unnatural powers are unnatural to us but they're completely natural to him. The apostles healed people using the supernatural power of Jesus Christ. Just because someone has "unnatural powers" doesn't make them God. I believe everyone is immortal. Yes, your body will expire, but you have a soul that will exist for eternity. If you consider such beings gods, then I suppose I'm not a monotheist, but I do believe that God -- Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit -- is superior to all other gods. He is the only one that should be worshiped.

Satan is not God. He is not all powerful, nor is he all knowing, nor is he present everywhere at all times. Satan is a created being; at one time an angel in heaven. He rejected God's rulership and so was ejected from heaven along with 1/3 of the angels who followed him.

I still wonder though if Christians can be called monotheistic since the Christian God is one God in three persons. Not totally understandable but I guess I won't understand everything. (Wouldn't that make me God) Good question.

Dude, Satan may have some power and may be immortal, but he is not a god. In fact, he is below god (he is one of the fallen angels God created) Only Satanists believe Satan is god.

Strange as it may seem, in spite of all such unequivocal Scriptural testimony many professed Christians as well as Jews doubt the existence of Satan the Devil. They take the position that no one has ever seen Satan and so he must be a mere figment of the imagination. Or that Satan is merely the principle of evil, or the evil impulses in man personified.

Satan is an angel, a created being, not immortal nor eternal. He's not a god...

Where do you get this stuff...? Certainly not from any legitimate Christian theology source....
