Women are weak by physic
Even sometime mentally....!
They can not open a cap of a bottle
They can not run fast as men can
Their heart is also weak
Always they are afraid of unknown things.
They are so soft like flowers

Even then they are respected as SHAKTI.
SHAKTI is Energy...the kinetic, Power, Force..Vigorous etc.

Why?? Why??

Oh Flora,

I have 'seen' the awesome energy that you describe, in a way that was truly impressive. All of the 'weakness' that the goddess has adorned her gender with in the physical form is, with great respect, a 'blind', a 'cover' it is, in short, camouflage !

I have sailed the big sea with mixed crews and I have seen over and over, the big, strong, hard-talking, hard-drinking machos guys are the first to curl up on their bunks sobbing for mama, while some skinny little girl half or less their weight is out on deck doing the necessary.

In Africa no matter where you are a truck is called a Mammy Wagon, why ? Because nearly all of the basic trade is done by the women, while their menfolk sit under the banyan tree jabbering away about nothing in particular.

I was present at the birth of both of my splendid offspring, and I doubt very much that I could have 'taken over' the job in hand, it is a proven, 'scientific' fact that the females have a far greater pain resistence than the males.

The great store of wisdom of the earth plane, healing plants and remedies was always in the dominance of the females.

The 'Earth Mother' was traditionally the consort of the 'Sky Father', this was the case until the patriarchal dominance of Judeeo-Christian-Islamic religions started to emerge as dominant. In both Sumeria ( Ishtar ) Egypt ( Isis ) and Syria ( Ashtaroth ) the female principle was the holder of earthly power.

I am sure that all of this is well known to you, our 'steel magnolia', so maybe you were just 'testing' the waters ?

Be happy and relax into your strength, we males will play our part as well, we are nearly grown up enough now.

You are Shakti...!
There are NO exceptions..all women are an embodiment of Shakti.
Women have the power to sustain & to give birth to a new life
Women have all the compassion found nowhere else
Women can open wide a man's heart (& even rip apart!)
Women are more steadfast to face reality than most men
Women have all the love available in this universe & they shower their love in different forms like mother, sister, daughter, wife, etc.
Women have the capability to inspire the bravest of all men
Women are tender for the purpose of sanctity...& can turn to be the fiercest of all when provoked...!

"Shiva" is the embodiment or Light of Knowledge - a reference point to provide Direction while, "Shakti" refers to the all pervading energy that sustains life. Energy without Direction & vice-verse are of no use. Hence, Shiva-Shakti are worshipped together.

What you've mentioned are the gross attributes of a woman, but "Shakti" is the subtle way of addressing women. Attributes are changeable at will, but the subtlelity remains the same.

Moreover, Shakti is expressed through different forms - Saraswati, Laxmi, Durga, Kali, etc. The attributes of Laxmi (Bestower of Prosperity) & Kali (Destroyer of Foes) are in contrast with each other, but both are an expression of the same "Shakti".

In our country we have had great women since ancient times like Anusuya & Sita, Mirabai & Rani of Jhansi Laxmibai, Veermata Jijabai & Razia Sultana, Sarojini Naidu & Indira Gandhi. Were these not an epithet of Shakti???

It's just the expression & perception of oneself that defines everybody. A women with a higher level of consciousness & stronger expression of Shakti will make news while the other will lead a normal life; but all women are indeed SHAKTI.

!!!...^^^~~~JAI BHAVANI~~~^^^...!!!

How Relevent an anquisitiveness,
Dear magnolia flora
Full Appreciations.

Shakti meaning force, power or energy is the Hindu concept or personification of God's female aspect, sometimes referred to as 'The Divine Mother'. Shakti represents the active, dynamic principles of feminine power. In Shaktism, Shakti is worshiped as the Supreme Being, however, in other Hindu traditions, Shakti embodies the active energy and power of male deities (Purushas), such as Vishnu in Vaishnavism or Shiva in Shaivism. Vishnu's shakti counterpart is called Lakshmi, with Parvati being the female shakti of Shiva.

If any lady is any of the Rupas mentioned in the Devi Suktam - She is the SHAKTI. !!!!

Shakti is formless power. Just like gravitational power, electricity, fire, and virtues.....etc

Power has nothing to do with the physical body of man or woman. It can manifest in any body. WE call woman Shakti just to give respect and nothing else. I am also a woman but iI have seen unconditional love, compassion, forgiveness which are all feminine qualities in many Men. It is just natural that only woman can give birth to new life. It is all biology. B ut I will call that person who have all good virtues SHAKTI. It has nothing to do with the body....I respect everybody(man/Woman) who are having good virtues.

Thanks for asking a much scientific question ! How can a woman may call Shakti which means for energy, power, force etc. But my dear friend have you ever thought that the man who is fast, strong and may do more energetic work than a woman is given by the women. Hence the root of this energy like man are in the women. So that she called shakti and you can see that she have more tolerance power than a man and she is the first teacher for a man ..... and there are so many topics which a man is obtains from woman.
the most thing is that a man can not gain energy without taking his mother's milk.
Once again thanks for your good question which may guide us to remember our mother.

shakti can give birth to Shiva. Motherhood is the only quality which we women have over men, and that is why we are shaktis.

Hello M.Flora,
Women are not weak as you are telling. In general, female is a stronger gender than male in all the species (not only in humans) of God's creation. In humans, males are most prone for cardiac illness than females. We can tell many examples like this. You cannot compare any physical or mental work to a delivery which a female undergoes (the physical, emotional strain). I have seen women who had 12 deliveries and they live long without any major medical problems till the age of 90s. So females are "SHAKTHI". There is no second opinion in it.

A story to illustrate. My niece and my son are the same age. Just 3 weeks apart. When they were 4, my niece informed me that,
"I am smarter than Zach. I decided".

I have a photo of him driving her around in a barbie car while she's using the barbie cellphone and pointing to where she wanted him to go.

(always use your experience to see what you have learned from a book).

Now, they are 10. He informed me while all of us girls were camped out on the couch ready to watch a chick-flick marathon. "Hey, I'm outa here. This stuff make me want to hurl". Boy, did he make tracks! :)

My niece who has been absorbing the relationships around her from birth, is sitting there with her popcorn ready for the show.

So, I wondered. Okay, where exactly are you going to learn about this, if your natural inclination is to run?

That would be me, his mom. I'm standing in the place of his instruction. His first mother. I have to be lovingly guidance to him, especially since his age group also needs to be instructed to not be so superior. It's all in the hands of the woman.

Shakti is loving nuturing and dedicated to growth -Shiva's lessons
Shiva is the Force, drive and power - Shakti's lessons.

Be learned in it all, allow the natural instincts to arise. Apply yourself deliberately to ((((((((Cosmic Love)))))))).
