This is a good question, try this analogy

The few good drops of orange juice you can queeze out of an orange, although there is a large percenatage wasted, it kind of makes it all worth the effort in the end.

If I believed in free will, I could only tell you that it's all a mystery how God knows who would refuse him, created them anyway knowing that their only destination is eternal punishment, and yet isn't the author of evil. We can play with anthropomorphic analogies all day long, but this cannot be reconciled. You watch though, people will try. I have yet to see any logical answer other than "it's a mystery" or a denial of God's existence.

His desire is that ALL people come to the knowledge of Him, through Christ- however this does not happen- God did create us, but gave us free will. I know that you have heard these two words, over and over, however it is true. This may seem a bit simplistic however here it goes- what if you met someone and they fell instantly in love with you, but your feelings were not the same. What if that person forced you to love him/her? You would walk away, wouldn't you- because you would not want to be in a relationship that was not both ways. Yes, God loves you so much that He sent His Son to die on the Cross to prove that love. However He does not force you to love Him in return- but when you do choose to love and accept Him, as I have, it is a very special relationship. I would much rather love God because I was given a choice- not because I was forced.

God created people to love him. But he also gave us free will. So ultimately, it is the people's choice in whether they believe or not. Everyone has a built in desire for god (look at every ancient civilization - who doesnt believe in some sort of god)

He also created "free will" , KC He created an abundance of people who can make their own minds up...about what to do..act.. and "BE". GOD gave us freedom to do what we wish, unlike some governments and politicians who want to limit that freedom. GOD created us free...What could be a better gift He can give to his children? I don't believe He wanted us to be a race of robots.

He created us cause he loves us conditionally! He is such a loving God, that he doesn't force us to love, you make that choice. Everyone has that one gifted that is the same in all of us, and that is the power to choose to love and believe in God.

Well, here's what the Bible says about that.

Romans 9:14 What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God's part? By no means! 15 For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." 16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy.

17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth." 18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.

19 You will say to me then, "Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?" 20 But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, "Why have you made me like this?" 21 Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honored use and another for dishonorable use?

22 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory-- 24 even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles?

Perhaps for the ones that do believe him. After all, God will defend the minority if they are godly correct.
