The sidewall will give you the MAX pressure for the tire. If this is the stock size tire for the car than open the drivers door and on the jamb there should by a tag about 4"x5" and that will give the tire pressure recommended for the front & rear tire for the car. If all else fails go to a large flat place {parking lot / quite road} and wipe chaulk across the face of the tire, drive staright forward 30 yds and stop. the idea is to adjust the airpressure up or down untill the wear is even all the way across the tire.

The max allowable pressure is on the sidewall. Also the load rating at that pressure. If the tires were standard on your car then there should be a manufacturers spec in the owners manual. If all else fails ask your tire dealer to look up the PSI vs load rating for the weight of your vehicle.

Check the sidewall of the tire. It will give you the max. pressure that you can put in the tire. A lot of the time it is something like 44lbs. I try to run about 41 on my truck. This makes the ride a little stiffer than normal, but it does improve the gas mileage. good luck.

Tire pressures are written on the side of the tire, along with tire size and manufacturer. If for some reason you cannot find it, call a tire dealer in your town, they should be able to tell you that info.

Its written on the inside of the tire. You will have to have the tire dismounted to find out. Don't forget to right it down. I just cut a hole in the side of my spare and looked Thur the hole with a flashlight. Either way works.
