You might consider a cruise or 1 week at a resort.

I've done this for my parents before so trust me, it works! Go to signaturedays.com and pick out a unique gift "experience." No matter what your parents' taste you will find something (and they are not as expensive as a vacation but will be just as memorable!). You can do a personal chef to come cook dinner for them, a hot air balloon flight, a champagne yacht cruise--there's a ton, check it out. And it comes in an elegant box with a personalized message inside so you dont even have to worry about presentation. Hope this helps!

I celebrate my 20th Wedding Anniversary in 2 weeks time. The simple answer is don't buy us any sentimental crap. Cleaning the house is an excellent idea as is presenting a chilled bottle of champagne or two. But after so many years married I have loads of stuff in the house - don't need any more clutter especially engraved rubbish. al

Make them a video using pictures of them from the beginning of their relationship, through their married life, including pictures of everyone special to them, special occasions, vacations, etc. Use a song that means something to them as the music for the video. A gift from the heart means so much more to parents than anything you can buy them.

You could write them a beautiful poem or letter telling how you feel about them from your heart. Frame it. You could make a photo album with all of your favorite memories in it. Cut words from magazines to caption the pictures with. I think home made gifts are the best.

Lace is the traditional gift and the modern one.
Perhaps get together with the other kids and friends and throw them a suprise vow renewal. It can be super affordable and they will probably love it.
Or, get them anything and use some lacy looking paper to wrap it.

How about a photo album full of pictures taken throughout their marriage. You could get friends and family to put messages and share stories in it too.
