Satan is the great deceiver of mankindand if so,?

did Satan write the Bible?
Yeah I know you're going to say god did, but we know that isn't true, it was inspired by God or something, meaning a bunch of old people wrote it.
So if Satan is the Great Deceiver, what better deception than religion.

I'm so going to hell for this one. lol

A lot of you seem to think, why, would Satan write all that bad stuff about himself.
Well, who are we to question the Great Deceiver.

Good question mate...and a good point...religion is the greatest deciever of them all, and since the Bible is the main focal point of the Christian religion, it'd be great to have your 'enemy' worship the things you want...(kinda like false info...) BUT....since God really doesn't exist (to me) then it don't matter...and just be spiritual, nothin' will corrupt then.

if Satan wrote the Bible do you think that he would have written it the way it ends- guess who wins? And if you say that is Satan's way of deceiving us- how do you think we will all wind up? If Satan is really in control here- where will we be after we die? Just a thought!!!!!!!!! If Satan wrote this to deceive us into thinking some will go to heaven, then obviously all will go to hell if he is the one that wrote it- That sounds right to me - I believe and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that EVERY word in the Bible is the Word of God- and Satan himself , knows the truth as well- and that is why he tries to deceive people into thinking the truth of the Bible is wrong. What if that is right? Where will you be?

First of all the bible is nnot religion. Religion is man made; the bible is God inspired. So often we get the two confused. We will ask a bible question and then point ot religion for the answer. Why not go back to the source, the bible.

Satan is the deceiver because when we are full of pride as Eve and Adam was it does not take much for us to be disobey the things of God. Because what pride does is look out for itself. Remember: self preservation is the first law of nature.

That is a good point because Satan does know God, but he has no respect for him. I think that if he did write the Bible it would be way different. The whole Bible is a love story and Satan doesn't that capasity of love to write a book about a loving father and his love for the world. I have actually thought about that but when I read the Bible i feel a certain sense of peace. Would Satan put peace over your heart after reading his words? No, he would put fire under your feet to go and turn against God. The Bible is a love story filled with respect. Satan is not the author.

There is more truth in what you wrote than you think. Religion IS the great deception and as long as you are religious but not deal with the SIN issue through Christ, Satan is very happy. Please read "The Screwape Letters" for further stimulation of gray matter.

You are missing the point of the Bible..it is not to get religion as so many do, it is to have a personal relationship with Jesus. As a Christian, you get to know him and feel his presence with you. He is a living Savior. Satan is the one who is deceiving the world in the name of religion..he is delighted when people get religion and just warm pews in the church...Sunday Morning Christians....he loves them.. Religion is deceptive...but a personal relationship with Jesus is all together different...

Paul said in Galatians"If any one,even an angel from heaven or me,comes preaching a different gospel than what we first taught you,let that one be damned by God".
Now,Paul also said "Even Satan appears as an angel of light so why not his followers too?"
600 years later an angel comes along and convinces Muhammed of a "different gospel".Later and "angel" comes along and convinces Joseph Smith of a new religion called Mormonism.Later on at Lourdes and Fatima(a name of Muhammed's daughter) Medjagoria,new "gospels" are proclaimed by fuzzy figures.
Paul said after he died,"others will come in like ravinig wolves".And they did.

Religion will be used by Satan in the end times to deceive many... the Bible is the only standard by which we can discern truth from 'false religion'... we know Satan didn't write it because it speaks so badly of him... he would have made himself look good ....

i do agree that satan is very much involved in religion but if satan wrote the Bible why would he call himself "the father of all lies" "the deceiver" "the dragon" "the man of lawlessness" furthermore, why would he write about his own destruction? Doesn't make sense. If satan wrote the Bible he would have left out the part where Jesus takes away the sins of the world

Right! Since the Bible as written by men tends to deceive us, it would be logical for Christians to think Satan wrote it.

How do we all know God didn't write the bible? God wrote the bible and sent it to us through a prophet. Satan was an angel, but when Adam was created, God told all the angels to bow before his new creation. Satan said he wouldn't bow because he was an angel made of light and Adam was made of dirt. So God banished him from the 7th sky. Satan promised to decieve mankind from the right path after that. Why would Satan write the bible if he swore to decieve mankind?
