Could mean a couple of things.
1. Could mean that he displays his feelings openly for all to see.
or
2. That because his heart is there on his sleeve for all to see it is vunerable.

That probally means that he wants to share his emotions with you. He wants to talk or something. If all else fails, just ask him what he ment by that. Or do some more research on it. But I think it means he Is willing to share his emotions. Maybe you guys should make a really romantic night and just talk about your feeling and stuff. Get to know each other a lil more, then maybe you can find out if he is really emotional or not. You never know with guys...Thier so confusing...lol...
