Even if most Americans don't believe in Global Warming, shouldn't we still try to decrease our CO2 emissions? The average American generates 15,000 pounds of CO2! Kind of gross when you think about it.

Yeah, we save money, reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and buy locally grown produce. Good point, it shouldn't matter if it's true or not. It's smart.

If we don't believe in man made global warming, then there is no reason to reduce our CO2 emissions. When you breath, you emit CO2 is that gross? Maybe for you it is.

Yes, and Nuclear Power Plants are the best way to accomplish this.

Over half of all co2 comes from power generation. This could be reduced or eliminated with nuclear power.

Yes. Especially as it applies to fossil fuels. CO2 emissions are OK when you are looking at sustainable (ie renewable) energy sources with a minimal impact on natural environmental cycles.

Seems like the more I try, the greater my increase in methane emissions...I don't get the connection...(excuse me)... but it's happening.

Kind of gross when you think about it!

EDIT-
Here's a great link that should bring the whole "science" of man-made global warming into question.
"...water vapor, which causes about 36-70% of the greenhouse effect on Earth..."

I just read about this website on the Wall Street Journal: Carbon Diet Plan. It is an application that can put us on a 'carbon diet'. As an individual and friends, we can make an impact on global warming 1 lb at a time.

Considering reducing your own CO2 emissions is conserving energy, and saving you money, I would assume that it is only sensible.
