"In his book, Scouting for Boys, Robert Baden-Powell chose the three-finger salute for Scouts to represent the three aspects of the Scout Promise:
1. Honour God and the King
2. Help Others
3. Obey the Scout Law"
"As a member of WAGGGS, the Girl Scouts of the USA use the three-fingered sign at shoulder height. The three fingers represent the person's own spiritual beliefs, other people and the Girl Scout Law. This differs very slightly from the 1913 version where the first finger represented God and Country."

The three fingers represent the person's own spiritual beliefs, other people and the Girl Scout Law. This differs very slightly from the 1913 version where the first finger represented God and Country.
Girl Scout Promise and Law
The Girl Scout Promise and Law are shared by every member of Girl Scouting. The Girl Scout Promise is the way Girl Scouts agree to act every day toward one another and other people, and the Law outlines a way to act towards one another and the world.
The Girl Scout Promise
On my honor, I will try:
To serve God* and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.
The Girl Scout Law
I will do my best to be
honest and fair,
friendly and helpful,
considerate and caring,
courageous and strong, and
responsible for what I say and do,
and to
respect myself and others,
respect authority,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout.
* The word "God" can be interpreted in a number of ways, depending on one's spiritual beliefs. When reciting the Girl Scout Promise, it is okay to replace the word "God" with whatever word your spiritual beliefs dictate.

Same as in Scouts, It is a sign of a plege to serve God Queen and to help other people.
I do not know the words of the Guides promise but in Scouts it is:
On my honour I promise to do my duty to god and to the Queen to help other people and kep pthe Scout Law.
Actually it is not abd code to try and live by

If its anyway similar to the guides in Uk then our guide law is..
"I will do my best to love my God, to serve the Queen and my country, to help other people and to keep the Guide law."
Therefore when we reaise our fingers in the promise sign we represent the 3 parts of this pledge.
God
Queen and country
Other people
