It's a national organization designed to invigorate fundamentalist support for Israel in order to influence U.S. policy. Although Jews stay in the background, most of their rallies - although held in Baptist churches, typically - are formally co-sponsored by a local Conservative synagogue. Many people suspect, since it is lavishly funded and came out of nowhere, that it probably is a proganda tool of the israeli government. Jews claim to disparage it - but most jews support the government in Palestine and they know perfectly well that fundies are the last remaining bedrock of support with U.S. voters for subsidizing the israeli government. It is currently the only significant example of fundie interference with our government - but atheists are curously silent on it. They don't like it when you bring it up.

It's John Hagee and a lot of other right wingers that get together to promote Israel.. Their alterior motive is that when all the Jews go back to Israel, his "Messiah" is supposed to "return".
After which time the Christians will have PLENTY OF SLAVES to work in "their temple.."

I don't know. Is it one of those groups who are trying to accelerate the "in gathering of the Jews?" Then God will destroy them and the Rapture will come?
