It will not stop you from being saved. Salvation requires faith, not having proof of everything.

I believe in a rapture and my viewpoint is the pre-tribulation (i will explain) but about believing if you are follow God's commands are obedient having fully trusted in Christ for your salvation and go on into his fullness by being filled with the Spirit of God and walk by faith daily then you will go regardless how your take is in it! Praise the LORD
There are three view points on the event called the rapture of the church
First, is that it will be right before the Great Tribulation that is to come on the whole world so that position is called - pre-tribulation, or pre-trib or a pre-tribber
Second is that it will occur at the 3.5 year mark in the Great Tribulation. Right before the severest time of the Great tribulation. Also none as mid-trubulation. mid-trib etc.
Third is that it will occur after the 7 year tribulation and these who hold to this viewpoint are called: post-tribulation, or post-trib,
However if you study the book of Revelation and the rest of the New Testament there is several "rapture events" and they all do not occur at the same time. This is probably what causes a lot of confusion for they see them all as one rapture not several.

No. you don't have to believe in the rapture to be raptured.
But I don't believe in the rapture concept that some people get left behind.
My idea of rapture is all at once when Christ will come as Judge, all who believe will become welcoming party.
Everyone else get terrified because the hour has come.

To add on to what lorenhornish said, All that is required to be saved is belief in Christ dying for your sins and resurrected, defeating death and ascending to Heaven. However, if you believe this, you should also believe the Bible as God's word. Since they do go hand in hand. After all, how can you be saved by Jesus if you ignore His teachings and His words? And, since the Bible talks of the second coming(although it doesn't refer to "rapture', but same thing ) then they must go hand in hand. Jesus said it, and either ALL His words are true, or none all. As a Christian you must believe in His Second Coming . No other way. Hope this helps. Thanks for the question, and have a great day!

My response is a little different from the rest.
In order to be saved, you must believe that Jesus died on the cross so that our sins could be forgiven. If you believe that, surely you'd believe that he's coming back for his people (the rapture). It all ties together.
A believer in Christ, but not the rapture?? That's something that I don't understand - Sounds like a contradiction. But that's just me. I don't claim to be a Bible scholar, just a believer.

Many Christian theologians and believers have re-interpreted the rapture to mean that there is a heaven right now instead of at Judgment Day. It is clearly not what is written, but it is strongly believed.
I believe that death is what you believe it is. That would mean for a some individuals at death there is a rapture, and for others a heaven. Meanwhile the living will keep on living their lives.

Yes you do have to believe in the rapture... I am pretty sure you have some knowledge of this matter, and all you have to do is live a pure and clear and pure life in the eyes of God... If you want to hear more let me know, got more info.

It depends on why you don't believe in the rapture.
I feel that everyone, even if they aren't a Christian, if they have lived a good life will be raptured.

It's been my understanding that believing in the rapture is filed under faith. You must beileve that God will come to rescue you from this world and lift you up into heaven. If you're not looking for Him, then He won't come for you.
Besides, if you're a Christian why not believe that he'll come to save us?

interesting question----
i just saw on tv the other day where the word"rapture" came from. because you know it's not in the bible.
it seems that there was this woman sometime in the 1830's that had a vision in which she saw jesus descend from heaven - not once but TWICE- and he took people back to heaven with him. after this she told this "vision" to a popular evangelist and he used this thought in a sermon and he came up with the word "rapture" and used it in his sermon. this thought became very popular. --
no joke - i saw this on one of the learning channels.
as far as people going to heaven, the bible actually says in 2peter 3:13 that ther will be "a new heavens and a new earth..and in these righteousness is to dwell"
also see psalm37:9-11
have you ever thought of an earth filled with peace-loving people?
wouldn't that be wonderful
after all , the bible says to be in heaven you must be of spirit-i like this physical body of mine just fine, i'm sure you like yours ,too!!!

According to the Bible, when Jesus returns, the dead in Christ will return to heaven first, then the believers, provided that the rapture occurs before the beginning of the Antichrist reign, will join Jesus in heaven.
