Does Boutte, LA get hit by hurricanes?

It does when it is in the path of a Hurricane, but being a bit inland, and so close to NOLA, you will never hear about it.

There used to be a really good Italian joint in or near Boutte. It was in a white house on the south side of Hwy 90. I haven't been there in almost a dozen years, I hope they made it through Katrina.

no only the south side of the united states gets hurricanes.
