Going on a cruise and want to make sure it will be something I can enjoy at this time of year.

Yes, I am already booked for December 8th and going to Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Key West.. The last time I did a winter cruise it was in January and it was rather cool in Ft Lauderdale (just north of Miami) but as we got further south the air temperature went up. When we stopped at a private island in the Bahamas for a beach party the weather was nice for sunning but the water temp was brisk/cold and so much so that very few people got in the water. However as we were further south to St Thomas the beach was great and so was the water. So you may not enjoy the water in Miami, but the water temps should be fine for the rest of your cruise and so should the overall weather.

I live in Belize and do work for the tourist industry down here. As it turns out December is at the height of the tourist season so there will be things to do but it may be a bit more expensive.

you will have a great time. It will be warm. IT IS THE CARIBBEAN it is always warm. Plus you are over huricane season so that is one less thing that you have to worry about.. Sounds like a great cuise.. Have a great time...

Yes and No, the good thing is that it wont be burning hot, the bad thing is that the plane prices will be out of this world!!!
