My prscrition is 163/180, what does that mean and is it bad? and will I need to wear glasses all my life? I'm nearsighted.

Those numbers look like the model number/colour codes from your glasses. The numbers do not resemble a prescription. Where did you get the numbers?

Myopia seldom reverses which means you will likely need to use glasses or contact lenses for distance viewing for most of your life. After age 22-25 you could get laser surgery if you don't like the idea of glasses or contacts.

well i don't know exactly what this means but you could get a laser surgery so you don't wear glasses anymore
