My husband and I are at home. For some reason, though it isn't the home we have, it's the one I grew up in, but in my dream I recognize it as "our home". He is near the door. I want to go in the house, because there are bees all around and I want to get inside away from them, but they are by the door, so I can't approach the door. My husband is urging me to come to him (and the door, which he is in front of), and not be afraid. The bees are all around him, so I don't want to be anywhere near him. He starts to slowly walk towards me, trying to say comforting words and urge me closer, but the bees are still close to him and they begin to sting him. His pleas for me not to be afraid are intermittently punctuated with "ouch!"es. I don't know if this dream has to do with my fear of him drinking again (he's a recovering alcoholic & hasn't drank in years), or with his back injury and our financial problems. What is this dream telling me to do? Or is it only highlighting internal feelings?

This is a dream from the Lord. God is showing you that there is a "door" open and presented to you for the opportunity of strenghthening your relationship with your husband. The bees represent demonic forces which want to keep you and your husband from growing closer. If you and your husband grow closer in your relationship. Your one accordness will make you that much more powerful in the Lord. God is showing you that the enemy is attacking your husband for trying to encourage you to walk towards that door and be closer to him.

It is telling you that your husband is not afraid to be out in the world and allows for the hurts in life to allow himself to grow from... it is telling you that you feel he is taking you away from the comforts of what is familiar, sheltering and safe to you and that he wants you to come with him and learn your lessons in life so tht you can grow as a person, even if is painful at times.

to me it sounds like you are afraid of something that he is engaged in that may possibly hurt you.
or going with the fear of him drinking: you may be afraid of him hurting himself but don't know how to help him without getting hurt yourself.
this is my best guess.
also i just want to add that kimberly's answer is very good! and it fits the situation!
