The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree.......yeah, that makes perfect sense.

There are two possible answers to your question:

--No, and
--Hell, no!

But what do you expect? Christians brain-wash people and present their doctrine out of order. It's like the way Scientologists rope people in with claims of a self-improvement and feel-good program and they never get around to telling you that THEY HONESTLY BELIEVE that 75 million years ago the Galactic Overlord Xenu decided to do away with surplus population by shipping excess population to Earth in rocket ships that resembled DC8's, freezing them to death and then depositing them in volcanoes on Earth to be exploded by atomic bombs. But then the spirits of these beings were Hoovered up by giant spaceships, brainwashed by showing them movies about Moses, Jesus, Buddha, Muhammad and all the major religions, and then released to go stick onto primitive life such as clams which eventually evolved into us (??) Does your head hurt yet?

But the Scientologists aren't up-front about the crazy stuff, and neither are Christians. If you boil down Christianity to summarize it to a new audience, it seems pretty silly: A Perfect God with full knowledge and foresight made an Imperfect creation with sin and suffering, the only solution being NOT direct action (since human Free Will is some kind of force-field or something) but God cuts off a piece of himself, calls it his Son, and then sends it down in a pathetic piece of street-theater to go get killed for the amusement of some Romans and Jews. So he sacrifices himself to himself, this reflexive act then changing nothing in the universe which goes on as before. Sounds pretty silly, doesn't it? So why do people believe it? They are coerced into believing small bites at first, which leads naturally into the larger story, which itself makes no sense and makes it doubtful Christians can meaningfully apply cause-and-effect to their lives. I.e. God's inability to have direct action is emulated by them, and they are incapable people in need of a guardian...

As for the Christians whose widdow feewings are hurt now and say we are being mean, please provide a definition of Christianity that is NOT the summary above. You can't. Your impotent God goofed, made a Creation with Evil, and now his creation is blamed for it, a creation he can't seem to change through direct action. We've caught the evil bug, hahahah, now God stays away because he'll be besmirched! He's helpless and unable to just wave his hands and fix the universe. Hahaha! So don't talk about hurt feelings because you DAMN Christians are BRUISING LOGIC to begin with and logic matters more than widdow feewings. Being true to logic is more important in life than being true to silly feelings. If your view doesn't stand the logic test, CHANGE YOUR VIEWS! It's easy to do since religion is all in the mind anyway, none of it is real.

That's why I believe Xenu came to Teggeack and threw the frozen souls of aliens into volcanoes and then the souls entered our bodies.

Scientology makes about as much sense.

Which is to say zero.

That's a pretty good description but you forgot to mention that the supreme creator and ruler of the universe was required by himself to manifest as a human to be killed by other humans so we'd know the meaning of love....and whoever don't believe it is sentenced to eternal hell by the same all-loving and merciful god.

Christianity makes no sense whatsoever because they try to mix good with evil and truth with falsehoods. Jesus message on the other hand makes perfect sense. the kingdom of God is within you. Salvation is a gift received by faith.

It makes perfect sense..... If I were trying to control a gullible population, and keep them living in fear and darkness....

Amazing what desperate people will believe.

Since you put it that way I think I'll kill myself now....

Come on, get real get life, and then actually learn something before you try to judge something. You sound like your judging a food dish just by looking at it, then being a little kid saying it looks "gross" so your not even going to try it.

I must thank-you for showing all of us where the depths of naivety can reach.

YEs Christianity is the only true undeviled religion, it is Christianity because it is the only one that says to follow Jesus. God says any religion that doesnt bring teachings of Jesus is a false religion. YOu may not udnerstand it, and you wont as long as you mock it and hate it. When you are ready to take a chance to just study and pray and KNOW for yourself, then you will have it all explained to you not only in the word but by God Himself You thin with finite, natural mind. To understand the ways of God, you must know Him, love Him, obey Him and let Him take you into the supernatural realm that He operates in and then He will make it all clear to you. Ask and ye will receive...... If not, NOPE YOur choice, how can you risk this if you are wrong?? What if there is a God , and a true hell, and there is? Then what?
IF I swere a diehard athiest, I would have to study with a true Chrsitian, study and pray and see for myself what there is to all of this, since so many do believe. What do they know that I dont know?? And allow God, if thre was one, to show me.
BUt, so many of you dont know God or His word and you reject it all and mock it all, and hate it all. Whys that? Devil makes you fear God and the truth and you allow it.
But God is eager to frogive all who ask and will turn to Him. Do it before its too late, which is before you die or Jesus comes again, which is soon. Choose wisely my friend and choose soon. Choice is all yours.

No it makes much more sense that everything evolved from pond scum and the guy that wrote the following is a religious nut:

Vision is a vastly complicated highly organized living electrical machine.
It produces an ultra high resolution three dimensional moving color pictures with instant automatic focus, instantaneous execution with no perceptible delay between the occurrence and the perception, low light compensation, a mechanism for self-repair, self-defense against infection, and nerves that create the exactly the right amount of electricity needed to translate colors into non-physical electrical code and transmit these codes to the brain.
The brain receives the code transmitted by 12,000,000 constantly changing optic nerves. There are 6,000,000 separate nerves in each eye and 12,000,000 entry ports. Each nerve transmits 1/6,000,000th of the "picture" that is focused on the retina at any one moment. And each time the eyes move, all 6,000,000 codes instantly change.
"No device in a publishing system is capable of reproducing the full range of colors viewable to the human eye. Each device operates within a specific color space, which can produce a certain range, or gamut, of colors." Instructions in Adobe Photoshop relating to colors.
The three dimensional property of our vision is created by the use of two different eyes
instead of one. The brain receives two different groups of 6,000,000 constantly changing
codes from each eye - two different pictures of the same object. The brain must then take
these signals and synthesize them instantly and create a moving three dimensional picture.
The 6,000,000 nerve endings are divided into three different groups that respond to the three primary colors of light. There are 2,000,000 that respond to red light, 2,000,000 that respond to yellow light and 2,000,000 that respond to blue light.
In order to colorize the moving picture, the brain must translate12,000,000 constantly changing color codes from the three primary colors to create a palate of millions of different colors that precisely reflect the actual color of an external reality to which the eye is not connected. All this is done by means of an electrical code in the space of nanoseconds.
How did all this happen? Some of the most respected scientists on the earth actually say that "Mother Nature" did it.
How far does one have to stretch the survival of the fittest in order to account for millions upon millions of discrete and accurate colors? Why is the accurate perception of millions of colors necessary for survival?
There is no such thing as "Mother Nature." And it is illogical to conclude that a mechanism like the eye is the result of trillions of extremely fortunate accidents - in practically every animal on earth.
