Does anyone know anything about the '08
Yaris? Any new standard specs?
I really like the 07 but I'm not buying for another year, so maybe I'll be looking at an 08 by then.

First off, never get a Nissan! Very terrible quality. Nissan just gives you tons of standard features, but they give you their low quality engines and transmissions. Why do you think they are so "cheap"? I've dealt with Nissan's of all models and tell you they are a mistake! Besides, you could hardly call Nissan a Japanese car maker, every part is made in Mexico.
Have you ever seen many 80's Nissan's like you see Toyota's? Just goes to show you how long they last. I'm not being biased, I'm just telling the truth. The 08 Yaris is the same as this year, except for a little bigger wheel base. Go with Toyota, High Quality parts!

There are no specs on the 08' Yaris as of yet so it might just be the same basic car as when it was released.

LOL please know that Saturns are junk. Although I have to admit the Yaris isn't a great car. Why don't you get the Corolla S? With special pricing and current incentives they are about the same price as the Yaris thats selling at almost full price. Plus the Carolla has a way better engine.

New Toyotas are junk, the Yaris is easily the worst. http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news04/2006/10/toyota_quality.html Since you are buying in 2008 get the Saturn Astra http://www.saturn.com/saturn/vehicles/futurevehicles/index.jsp?futureModelLink=astra It is basically a rebadged Opel Astra, which is one of the most popular cars in Europe. When the Astra is introduced it will set the compact world on fire, I would bet that when they come out you cant get your hands on one for anything. The Astra will be imported and manufactured in Europe and sold as a Saturn in America.

Please also look at the nissan versa hatch back and sedan larger inside more power Bluetooth and 250 watt sterio.Yarus looks like it was designed by cartoon artists. I call them Elmer Fudd car's. To narrow for height out of proportion some how same for the Honda Fit.
