I am planning on asking my mom if I can get snake bites, I been wantting to get it done for sometime now, I am wellinig to pay for it an everything.
I have also been doing research on how they do it an wat to do for the after care as well. I am wondering on how I should start to ask her an wat I should really say to her so I wont be looking like a 17 year old who has no idea on wat I want.
I know I should wait but I can't an I been on the computer for weeks now learning all I can about this stuff. She lets me gauge my ears (I don't care I love gauged ears) an dye my hair (which is blue) but i don't know if she thinks this would be going to far.
I have been trying to write down wat I say but its not really working for me. I need some advise on how I could try to convince her on letting me get it done.

Just come out and say you've been wanting a lip piercing for awhile now, and that you've been researching it.
Show her how much you know about the aftercare and whatnot. It will show her how responsible you are. And please please please, if she says no, DON'T do it yourself.

I've been getting pierced since I was 13, I'm now 23 and have a myriad of old piercing scars all over my face!
I had snakebites as well, unfortunately they didn't last very long because they were uneven.
The only way to really convince your mom is to just reassure her that they can always be taken out, they don't last forever. If you OR her don't like them..its one simple fix. REMOVE.
Also, piercings are so much more mainstream than they even were 5-10 years ago. Let her know that you are also doing all the research you can, I used to do research as well and my mom really liked that I was being smart about it. I think yours will too.
Gauged ears are much worse, considering the size..its hard for them to close in the future. I had 00's and you can still see right through my ears! The snakebites are harmless.

The only thing you can do is to be perfectly honest with your mom about all of this. and if she says no, wait one year till you're 18 then do it anyway.

just be likee errmm ive been wanting to get these for a while..and so yeah..and be like yeah..im pretty sure shell let ya if she lets ya gauge your ears. what size are they ?!
