I'm looking for somthing to allow me to play songs on my smart phone over my car speakers.

I have a Moto Q using Windows Mobile 5.0. The defualt palyer is Media Player 10 Mobile (I'm willing to download something else if necessary).

My car has a factory stereo from 2002, so it does not have a line-in jack or bluetooth chip. It does have a cd player and tape player.

The Q comes with a bluetooth, and a Headset jack which a line out jack does not fit in. I can't seem to get a FM transmitter to fit in the headset jack.

Does anyone know of a work-a-round to get what comes out of the speakers or headset jack of my phone to play on my car stereo speakers?

Dude, your almost there. Just go to an electronics store like radio shack and get an adapter.
Not too familiar with Moto Q, don't know if the sound is stereo or mono. At audio gear will give you some hints as what to buy but go to radio shack and ask questions.

there is two ways to do this one will be to get a auxiliary audio interface for your factory radio this connects in the back of the radio and with a small jack in to the headphone plug of the cellphone since you didn't tell us what vehicle you have go here and look for the cable your self click on your vehicle logo

If it has a plug in for your head phones then you can buy a fm transmiter made by scosche. They are about 30 dollars at walmart and plug into your cigarette lighter. Then you set the radio station on the transmiter to the same as on your radio and plug it in your phone.

Called a " I rock" a fm transmitter tune to 88.1 thru 88.7 and plug in the headphone jack. Cheep on E-Bay and they do ok. Even has a cigar lighter power supply. Blue tooth just lets you take and send calls.
