Yes,when i knew nothing about other religions I was susceptible to believing all sorts of slanders. Now I go to primary sorces about other religions and i have learned to appreciate them much more even when I disagree with many of their tenets.

yes, when I was considering myself a Christian long ago I was very negative of Catholics due to the hate of other religions that was taught to me, but I became friends with a few Catholics and began to understand where they were coming from and learned about them. That negativity went away.

Yes, the country of Colombia. I thought it was alll about drug cartels, kidnappings, and violence. However, I have since been there several times, and it is a beautiful country and in some ways much safer and more peaceful than the USA.

When it comes to religion I feel it's the opposite. The negativity comes when you do learn more about religion.

YES! I used to HATE Catholicism, considered it false, tried to convince people to leave it, etc. until I REALLY studied it. I then realized I was completely wrong, and that Catholicism IS the One True Faith, and I converted. (People who knew me were shocked.)
