If the food is healthy, nutritious and if you can work enough fiber in there, that's good. You have to consume a little fat, too. No more than two protein bars per day. But it's only one side of the equation.
For total health, you also have to exercise. But you knew that, right?
I wish you good health!

P.S. My makeup instructor uses the kit and drop from size 12 to 2 in 2 years. If I have never seen her old photos, I wouldn't believe what kind of dramatical change she has been through! She looks very healthy and gorgeous, unlike others who reduce weight dramatically but look sick and unhealthy.

No, its not all about calories, you should watch Calories, fat and sugar. Also, don't go for low calories food, unless this are fruit and vegetables. Many low calories food on the market have low fiber and lots of sugar or sodium that are not good in excess either.
Go for healthy and small portions instead.

Calories just mean how much energy a food has. It's important to find out where those calories came from rather than just worrying about the total amount. You don't want empty calories meaning those that come from added sugar or ones that come from saturated fat.

sounds like the volumetric diet where you consume lots of healthy, low-cal food that fills you up. its a great idea but you should have at least 1200 cals otherwise your metabolism will slow down.
