cos i want to give a funny response to someone on a forum, they said i was uneducated and naive and they were sick of people like me cos i did not know enough about necular energy or should i ignore them

I think the all-time best response to rude comments has to go to Sir Winston Churchill.
A woman seated next to him at a dinner party once frostily told him, "Sir, if I were your wife, I would put poison in your drink!"
Sir Winston responded, "Madam, if you were my wife, I would drink it!"
And at another part, a woman said to him, "Sir Winston, you are DRUNK!"
And he responded, "Madam, in the morning I will be sober. You, however, will still be UGLY!"
Winston definitely had a way with the clever put-down.

Rudeness has no answer without things becoming confrontational. Take it on the chin here....there are a lot of strange people giving off handed answers. As they say, if you can't take the heat, stay away from the stove. You will not always like your answers but it's basically a decent forum so forget the jerks and move on.

but that person has their own problems..
feel sorry for them.
not everyone is "sick of" real people...
well, at least you didn't have to meet the nerd in person where you couldn't so easily shut their complete failure at emotional intelligence down.
It's proof computers can be a good thing for dealing with the difficult.

Sometimes, I would just ignore them. Other times, I'll come up with a subtle sarcastic remark to snap back. Sarcasm's the best way to go, for me.

Someone was rude to me on this site once and I just ignored them. There are far too many holier-than-thou people on these sites for my liking and I just try and steer clear of them.

if they say you are uneducated, what you want to do is get a dictionary and look up the longest, most complex derogatory and insulting words you can find, then throw those bad boys at them! Whose uneducated now?!
