The Pope revealed the Catholic Church to be the One True Faith. This makes every other faith False. If only I had known sooner!

Right and wrong is determined by a person's own opinion, not the opinion of someone who assumes power over others.

If you tell me I am no good for anything, you are right, because in your eyes the statement is true. Who am I to say you are wrong in your beliefs?

Everybody is 100% equal. The pope is no greater a person than any of the rest of us. He still has the same basic needs. He likely still has fear, hate, greed, ignorance, and closed-mindedness, which are the ingredients of harm. Maybe he has learned to expel them, but I wouldn't bet on it. It's not a Christian practice, Catholic or not, to be curing the ills of humanity this way.

I could be mistaken, which might be what creates my doubt. Maybe the Pope is pure. But I still do not think so.

There is no faith that is wrong, or false. It is all a matter of the person's own opinion. Therefore it seems that the Pope has shown ignorance after all. lol

I'm not sure but I believe that any time you begin down the road of the "ONE TRUE CHURCH" concept, you are on dangerous ground.

I wonder which Pope you are reffering to (the current Pontiff or a predecessor). As a Christian ( protestant ) I can say this I believe that there many "SAVED CATHOLICS" as I believe there are many "Saved , Baptists, Anglicans, Methodists, Evangelicals, Pentecostals, Fundamentalist and Liberal Christians. I say this because I believe that "Christians" make up the true church of the Lord Jesus Christ, That the word of God that says "if any person is in Christ, they are a New Creature or new creation, that all of the old stuff in the past is gone and see how everything in this fersons life from this point on is made new" (my paraphrase)

"Any Person' or "any man" as it is translated means just that any man, woman or child that calls on Jesus as their Savior is saved unto a place in Heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ, and It makes now diference what the name or denomination of the chruch is, cause GOD"S CHURCH, the Bride of Christ dose not have a name such as Catholic or Protestant or what ever. The name of the church is the Eleesiea (spelling ?) "the called out ones" the "WHOSOEVERS" that believe int the Son OF GOD!!!! they are a part of the true Church, here on earth.

Jesus told the multitude following Him " you look after mee cause you see I can feed you, and you do well to do so cause I am the Bread of life...(too much to go into there) but in fact the story continues that Jesus told these same people that God was looking for worshipers, true worshipers that would "worship in Spirit and in Truth". That is the True Church of God, and the Pope and Catholics, and Mormons, And JW's, and so many other denominations that run around proclaiming the "True Church" medallion are gonna have to move over and Bow Down to the Lord Jesus Christ as He calls up a few of us sinners that have indeed plead the blood of Christ over our lives, and don't go to Catholic, or Mormon, or JW, or 7th Day Church, or handle snakes, or drink special miracle water, or use anointed prosperity prayer cloths, just plain old sinners saved by Grace. We are his people created for Good works in Christ.

So to answer you question havins said all the above I aright, and I am happy , and I am in good company.

Is the Catholic Church teaching us Yahweh's way, or is it teaching us that there is a new way?

If so, then they are wrong.

I would debate the point with what the scripture says. The Bible says in Romans 10:13 that those who call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved. It doesn't give a "particular religion" . Romans is in the Protestant and Catholic Bible. Gods word doesn't contradict.

The successors of the apostles have so corrupted their message that the pope cannot be relied upon to "reveal" anything concerning doctrine. Each Pope has his own take on doctrine, and each claims to be infallible even tho they differ from previous popes or even change their minds.

hahaha...i used to be catholic but in the past 4 years renounced my membership from the church. I'm still christian. Even though I am not really affiliated with the church anymore, It kind of saddens me to hear any religion claim that they are "the one true faith".

the pope is wrong. he only said it because he knows Jesus established catholic church but he needs to know A church is a church and a bible is a bible and nothing can change it.
