It's probably still on the first page of questions on Yahoo Answers.
If one person is admitting to doing this, how many others are doing it and not admitting it?
How do you feel about this?

I'm a "Top Contributor",...
... and I have absolutely NO idea how I became one...:-))

Anyone care to enlighten me as to what I have done to deserve such a dubious honor?...

I wish they wouldn't. I wear my VNEs like a badge of honor, and would hate to think that I didn't deserve it. I don't have a TC badge yet, as most of my points were racked up by my providing wonderful answers in lots of categories, instead of focusing on no more than three.

The badge is a reward for narrow-mindedness (IMHO,) and find it quite humorous that a troll is targeting you, if you happen to be a TC holder (not directed at the asker, but the reader of my answer.)

The TC badge should be optional. Here on religion people can get reported for anything though.

What's a TC?

Thanks for clearing that up.
It would never have ocurred to me to wonder if anyone were reporting "TC's".
I think it's a rather childish behavior, but I'm sure Yahoo is aware of such nonsense. Don't they investigate the reports they get?

I don't know, what is a TC? and how do I avoid being blanked like they did Yahoo Music?

If there is a report abuse button, people are going to abuse it. It seems that Y!A needs to grow a backbone and let more things stand as long as it isn't disgusting or degrading. Let people filter the site on their own with the thumbs down button.

Wouldn't the TC have to be doing something wrong for the complaint to carry any weight?

I think yahoo has software to deal with frequent reporters and their reports aren't taken seriously.
