A few cancers are hereditary. Certain types of breast and ovarian cancers carry a BRCA genetic mutation that increases the risk for those cancers. About 5-10 percent of colon cancers are considered hereditary. And some Prostate cancers are considered hereditary if one close relative has it. There is also a type of thyroid cancer that is hereditary.
So, if you are female and both aunts have breast cancer you may want to go for genetic testing.

Yes some will also be hereditary however not all and the findings to link heredity are still some what inconclusive to this present day however medical professionals think that some are like breast melanoma. When you go to the general practitioner ask about being demonstrated for Van Willie band this can be a bleeding sickness that is over appeared by way of a lot of general practitioner considering that it is fairly not recognized like hemophilia. I've this disease and having lengthy intervals that bleed alot are one of the indicators that you would be able to have an additional is if your gums bleed fairly handy when you brush your tooth and you have got healthful teeth. The one cause why I advocate this is for the reason that 1 in 3 men and women have this and do not are aware of it until a trauma occurs or you've got surgery that requires you to have blood. If you have this disease that implies your blood has to be typed the entire means all the way down to the platelets or your physique will reject it

It hard so say, but studies have shown that cancer is somewhat hereditary. Or that you are more at risk to get it. But at the same time, of you have a history of heart disease in your family, then you are more prone to get that. But Leukemia and breast cancer are two different types of cancer, so I don't think you are in line for either. But the chances of you being diagnosed with cancer is increased. Best idea is to screen for it every few months. That way, if you do get anything, it can be treated faster, and less evasive in removing it.

To some extent, cancer is said to be hereditary. However, diet and environment factors also play an important part. If you have family members who have had cancer, then you are considered to be of higher risk. That does not mean that you would definitely get cancer. But if your lifestyle is an unhealthy one, then you increase this risk even more.

Yes and no, it all depends on what kind of cancer and what you need to do to lessen the chances.
There are places that can tell you if you are more at risk then other people. Here is a web site that you need to look at.

I'm not in the medical profession, but I know breast cancer has a tendency to occur in families. There is also a gene that can cause ovarian cancer.

You don't really inherit the cancer per se, what you inherit is a genetic mutation. This mutation can make you more susceptible to cancer (it's easier for you to get cancer than someone who does not have the mutation).
