Well, going on dates and sex are two different things. Hopefully one has some practice at the former before progressing to the latter.
I'm sorry, I can't give you a number. I can tell you that the average age a girl in North America first has sex is 14.9, and for boys 15.6, but that has nothing to do with you. Everyone is different, and you shouldn't do anything before YOU feel you are ready. Above all, do not let any boy pressure you into moving too fast for any reason.

I don't think there should be a set age for everyone when they should have sex and go on dates. It's just a matter of preference. I think girls should have sex when they're ready first of all.Girls should start having sex AFTER marriage! As for dating, they should be ALLOWED to date when they're 18. :)

girls should not date till they are 18. they will be better prepared for the guys and all the lines they drop. honestly no one wants their child having sex. on the other hand if you let them hang out and go out with friends the odds of them having sex in a car, park, woods, house, any where they can are high. so it is kinda on the parents but also the child's place to make that decision. sad it is that way. sad we all feel different. sad you have to go through it. then you get over when they get of age and move out. so yeah it is the family who can help with that. my nephew at 13 did things to a girl and then Bragged about it. to me it was sick and to the guys in the family it was like winning the lottery. today he is 16 and he now does not bragg any more. so some immaturity plays a part between the girl and boy making the decision.

This question has been already asked many times before, definetly not your age. Dating at 16 is fine, sex at 21 or whenever very mature is good. Most women regret having sex young anyways so.

At sixteen the curfew is 10pm here....so dates until then I can accept.....as far as having sex with men or young men...My daughter knows that I was 16 when I had her, so she has that in the back of her mind, knowing that she wants to do things right for her....
So far at almost 18 she has been perfect, but she is talking about moving to Vegas with her boyfriend after school is up for her..
I get nervous and jitters and hope I taught her everything, you know, but there comes a time when you have to trust them...........

honestly the age is getting younger every year. my boyfriends sister was having sex drinking and dating when she was 13. there shouldn't be a specific age though. if you find the right person to date that isn't just looking to get laid and you happen to fall in love then go for it and have sex with him.
