Oreo,
I think it is rather funny just reading yours.
Thanks,

I dunno.
But I think it might be a good thing if more atheists would start really reading the answers other atheists have given...not to mention some of the questions they ask.
I feel so very sorry for some of them.
It's got to be a horrible burden, carrying around all that rage.
The venting you do in forums like these doesn't really hurt anyone. Oh, a Christian might get his feelings hurt for a couple of minutes, or get mad enough to retaliate, once or twice, before he figures out that you've made a patsy of him...
But then, he gets to turn his computer off and go to bed. Ninety-nine times out of a hundred, he will have forgotten all about it by the next morning.
The angry atheist, however, has to carry his rage with him, even after he logs out.
So tragic, really.

I find some of my fellow Christians do not give very appropriate or focused answers and this is frustrating. However I see that much of the time they are trying to answer questions posed by people who are more interest in proving the askers supposed higher intelligents or being mocked and ignored. I don't see this as beneficiaL to anyone involved.

The probability always increases the chance that they might realise... however it is difficult to see what other Christians have written and take head so to speak when God is dealing with a different aspect in your life, showing you how to change that, revealing to things in a certain aspect - can cause tunnel vision for a time until the area is resolved.
So it might help, might not.

Yes. But that's not a good reason to either treat them that way or to disregard the Christian faith out of hand.
Everyone needs to stop seeking the easy way out and do some scholarly research on the subject. After all it's your life that's at stake.

I can presently understand you being frustrated with many Christians on here (and elsewhere). 'Christianity' has some things that need to be cleaned out; which would make it significantly more 'logical' to others. But so far, those people seem to be few are far between.

Substitute "skeptics" (or "agnostics", "atheists", etc.) for "christians". Do you agree or disagree that treating all of a certain group of people for the misdeeds of a few of them is justified?

Maybe a few. But I seriously think some of these people have lost their minds. The children questions were just too much for me.

That is a cop-out. Philosophically and psychologically you have control of your actions--dispite what others do. Some people--prefer to condemn anything they can't accept or believe. Many condemn anything except themselves.

I think many do understand. They don't like the fundies anymore than the non-believers.
But more need to admit it, and DO something about it, even if it's just stand up to the fundies themselves.
