Breakfast - they used to hate it but together they have learned to love it. They can make pancakes, fry, poach and bake eggs, french toast and stuffed french toast they can even make their own muffins and bagels given enough prep time and if they remember to set the bread machine the night before. We have loads of fun and sometimes will make breakfast for dinner.
BTW my kids are 10 and 11

Mixer mommy mixer! My son is almost six. I always supervise him and let him stand on his stool so he can watch all the items get incorporated. I'm thinking he also likes that best because it's always sweets that are the end-result- cakes, muffins or cookies!

baking with kids is a lot of fun! especially cookies.
i used baking and cutting cakes, pies and cookies to help my children with their fractions.
it was fun and held their attention and they got a good understanding of how fractions affect our everyday lives.
