The Holy Eucharist, which means thanksgiving, in the Roman Catholic faith is when Jesus Christ becomes sacramentally present in the form of the consecrated bread and wine. We believe that the bread and wine literally become the real body, blood, soul, and divinity of Christ under the appearance of bread and wine. God bless.
