Ozymandius: It would be a logical fallacy to say that if Christian claims are incompatible, they are therefore all untrue. Logically one could be true OR they could all be untrue.

And regarding the gentleman who spoke below you, I've learned that ad hominem attacks are a strong indication of a weak argument and/or a self-loathing 'spirit' that is projected outwards. On some topics I am truly ignorant, but Christian eschatological debate doesn't happen to be one of them.

the exact process differs from religion to religion according to specific doctrine - but basically they are resurrected, go home to God and Jesus in heaven, and live happily ever after.

Eventually they receive a new body to inhabit the new Jerusalem in a new earth under a new heaven

edit:
they are "sleeping" until then... whatever that means.

edit again: I don't think you show ignorance because I am guessing that the point of your question was to say that this couldn't all be true; therefore, proving by their differences that they are all wrong. I'm not sure that the Bible is very clear at the specifics which is why people are so different in opinion... I'm sorry if my thinking for you is completely wrong or offensive, but I just read the answer beneath mine and decided to add this edit.

The Bible teaches there will be a resurrection of the righteous & unrighteous. John 5:28,29
The dead are not concious of anything at all, so says Ecclesiastes 9:5.
excerpt from:
In the Scriptures, death is clearly explained. Furthermore, the Bible not only reveals why we die but also explains the condition of the dead and offers hope for our deceased loved ones. Finally, it speaks of a momentous time when it will be possible to report: “Death is swallowed up forever.”—1 Corinthians 15:54.

The Bible explains death in familiar rather than mysterious terms. For example, it repeatedly likens dying to ‘falling asleep,’ and it describes dead people as “sleeping in death.” (Psalm 13:3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13; John 11:11-14) Death is also identified as an “enemy.” (1 Corinthians 15:26) More important, the Bible enables us to understand why death is like a sleep, why death afflicts mankind, and how this enemy will finally be defeated
Use your own copy of the Bible to see if this is not true...

Ummm, Christianity is a very broad topic. First of all, there are Catholics and Protestants; both of these are Christian. Then Protestants are divided into many denominations. For example, Seventh Day Adventists, the only ones whose beliefs come straight from the Bible, believe that the dead are asleep until the time of Jesus's return, when everyone will awake to Judgment.

Well, there are two classes of true Christians, the first is the anointed of God, God chooses these ones and anoints them with Holy Spirit so that when they die their reward is in the heavens and they will serve as priests of God and as associate kings with Christ Jesus, Jesus called them little flock. The other class of true Christians when they die go into nonexistance until resurrected where then they will receive their reward of eternal life on earth after passing the final test. Jesus called them other sheep, not of this fold when he was speaking with the little flock. Jesus also said at Matthew 5:5 that these meek ones would inherit the earth in his Sermon on the Mount. These are the same ones spoken of in Psalms 37:11,29 as inheriting the earth and residing upon it forever, we are the ones that Jesus and the Spirit anointed will rule over as kings from heaven.

2Co 5:8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. Php 1:20-24

You confuse 2 separate themes. The Rapture with dying/and the afterlife. The Rapture is a factor of the apocalypse and has to do with how the Christians view the top of the international. those ineffective in union with Christ hence the martyrs will upward push (heaven) first. The others are left in the international to manage the anti-christ and after the pains and tribulations in the event that they're deemed "heaven-worth" would be modern upon Jesus Christ excellent Awakening and return which will carry the dominion for supposedly one million,000 excellent years.

Every true Christian will go to heaven, or eternity with God, but before we do we will be judged based on our sins and good deeds on earth, because that will determine how high our position will be once we ge into heaven.

According to 1 Thess. 4:16 "because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice and with God’s trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first"

and if Jesus still haven´t come then......the first answer is wrong

You display considerable ignorance. There is no one dogma. There are several major Churches,many that are minor. Catholic,Protestant and fundie teachings would all be quite different. Let me give you an example of your question;
ATHEISTS: Exactly what does Atheism teach happens to True Atheists when they die?
See what I mean? Kinda stupid, isn't it? I'm sorry, but what else is there to say? Addressing a question to "Christians" is ludicrously general; there is immense variety. If you don't know that, don't post.
