Get it checked out. Demand a biopsy. I started out the same way. Tests showed nothing until a biopsy was taken. Hopefully, it won't be anything bad. If it is something bad, there are great treatments out there. Try not to stress out [yeah, right - I know] and get it checked soon for your peace of mind.
Best wishes

The lump sounds like a lymph node, these are normal, they swell when you have an infection like a cold etc. The other pain in the arm...who knows

Don't panic, but do see a doctor to alleviate your worries. I too had this happen and was terrified. It ended up being a type of "fatty" tumor which is non-malignant and nothing to worry about. If it gets bigger and presses on anything I can have simple surgery to remove it. Whee! Was I relieved.
So do yourself a favor and have it seen at once.

Sounds like a swollen lymph node. There are plenty of them in this area. If it doesn't go down in a couple days, see a doctor as it may be more serious.

More likely a swollen gland for some reason. Watch it but it will likely go away by itself. If not see a Dr.
