Hiroshima has been beautifully rebuilt.

One of the largest employers in Hiroshima is an auto manufacturing plant. It's called Toyo Motors. I think you've heard of Toyota, haven't you?
That company also owns the Japanese major league team which plays in Hiroshima. They are called the Toyo Hiroshima Carp. We have some former pro players from the States playing on that team, as has been the custom for many years. None has returned to the U. S. glowing in the dark. The background radiation levels in Hiroshima are lower than Denver on a sunny afternoon.

Yes, the city is rebuilt with a rising population. The amount of uranium in the bomb wasn't as large as say chernobyl, where about two decades later its still not safe, so the radiation level is low enough to live in it (everywhere has radiation but some places are so high it could kill you in minutes)

Yes, many thousands do. The bomb exploded over Hiroshima was a relatviely small uranium bomb, and most of the radiation dissipated years ago. The truly terrifying bombs are the hydrogen bombs that were built in huge numbers during the 1950's and 1960's.

Yes in fact today it is a very large city. Once a year on the date of the bombing the Mayor leads the city in a plea to dismantle all nuclear weapons.
