If I am backing out of my driveway and I hit another car parked in my driveway am I required to pay for the damage dont to the car I hit?

Yes. You hit a parked vehicle. A stationary object. Who do you think should pay for it, the person who parked it there?

Yes. If the car was in your driveway wouldnt you want to pay for it anyways?

Of course. Whenever you are at fault for an accidnet you are responsible for the other drivers repairs as well as rental cost and any injuries incurred.

Do you have insurance? If so.. they will cover the damages.

If not, i hope you learned a valuable lesson.

Who else did you think would be paying for it?

backing out or pulling out of a drive way or parking spot, you hit a moving or parked vehicle you are automaticly at fault.

Yup, or your insurance. The other driver can sue you in civil court.
