is your neck swollen at all? to be honest.. the "loopy and tired" worries me a little.. is that common for you when you've had a kink in the past? If not maybe go visit your doctor.. better safe than sorry right. If it's just a kink they are just going to give you a muscle relaxer or pain reliever or both. Many people have claimed that chiropractors have helped them greatly in similar situations.. though I've never been to one myself but I can't discredit that those people felt better.

try to get away from the screen if you can.. you are probably straining your eyes and making the situation worse... if you can't it may be time to give in and load up on some Aleve or Ibuprofen.. (just take the recommended dose now) either way.. if it keeps up I'd see your doc.

Self-style "acupressure"!!! If you can manage it (without further twisting yourself up), press down hard at the point of pain. Locate the afflicted muscle(s), and press-massage the pain. If you're successful, you'll feel it radiate to other parts of your body. Sometimes I feel it from my neck to my knees! Just shows how intra-connected our bodies are.

Even better if you can find someone to do this for/to you. But, hey! You're at work. Careful what you ask others to do; you don't want to be misunderstood and get slapped with a harassment citation.

Also, roll your head all the way 'round your neck; first clockwise; then counter-. Then bend your head all the way forward; then all the way back. Then side to side (without rotating your head on your neck). Mind the cracking! That means you're so tense, and that's why the headquake.

Hope this helps. Feel better. Maybe even take a Tylenol.
