My husband believes in the concept of a "supernatural supreme being". I love him. He's never tried to force his belief on me or to legislate them into secular law. Most deists and non-religious theists are like that, and I appreciate it. They still believe in something that doesn't exist and they still have "faith" (which I dislike), but I do recognize their right to believe as they will and again, I appreciate their respect for the secular legal system under which I live.

I really don't care what people choose to believe in. As long as I am not forced into doing the same.

I'm an apatheist. So, like, I really don't care. Even though I crusade against religions on the internet.

Then they probably don't have any pressing need to impose their views on others, and we wouldn't have to discuss religious matters. They could say "I believe in a God", I could say "I don't believe in a God etc", and we could forget all about it.

J.P. said it all. People can believe whatever they want. I don't really care, except when they try to shove it down my throat. Hence my dislike of christians.

Frankly, I don't care about belief at all, until someone tries to shove it down my throat or onto my law books.

If it works for you, more power to you. I will respect that, and ask only that you respect that it didn't work for me.

I don't personally know any, but I think they have a good idea and I would respect them.

Oops, sheesh. I think my husband fits the bill here. I sure do "know" him!

I don't care what they believe. As long as they stay out of my personal life and legal system, I don't care what they do.

as long as you don't think satan has tricked me into disagreeing with you I'm cool with that. and my guess is you won't, that's more of an organized religion thing.
