I need to make a point that we should accept people "differences" (not sins) and want actual scripture to back it up. A pastors wife is who i need to make the point with.

Exodus 23:9 "Do not oppress an alien; you yourselves know how it feels to be aliens, because you were aliens in Egypt."

1 Samuel 16 (Samuel comes to Jesse's house to anoint one of his sons king, but God approves none of the obvious candidates.)

The Book of Ruth (A foreigner adopts the life and faith of the widow of her former master, eventually becoming an ancestor of King David.)

The Book of Jonah (A reluctant prophet is forced to prophesy to his nation's enemies, resulting in their reform.)

Matthew 15 (Jesus accedes to the request of a Syro-Phonecian woman.)

Luke 7 (Jesus permits a known sinner to anoint him.)

Luke 10 (The parable of the Good Samaritan)

Luke 19 (Jesus invites himself into the home of a short tax collector.)

John 4 (Jesus encounters a Samaritan woman.)

James 2 (Do not show favoritism based on appearances.)

Heb 13:2 - "Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it."

Good luck!

I'm not sure this is what you are asking but I hope this helps. Kindness is a virtue that is to be used against anger. Kindness is being patient with the faults of others. This can be hard to do especially when life gets hectic and emotions and tempers are involved. We should always ask Jesus for the virtue of kindness. Accepting other peoples differences does not mean that you do not want to give someone counsel if they need it. Another words if you brother is stealing or going to steal something it would be a good idea to kindly instruct him not to do so.

There is a big difference between accepting others' differences, and accepting others' sins. Which are you really referring to?
God is very much in favor of us accepting others' differences, that is, that person has black skin and that person has white, this person has blue eyes and that person has brown, etc., because we are all descended from Adam through Noah. We are all cousins. However, God is adamant that we remove ourselves from sin and "hate the sin, but love the sinner." There is no way that a conscientious Christian can accept sin, any more than God can. To accept sin is to excuse it. There is no excuse for sin.
